You know, if that team-UP DTV happens, this is the two that should team. ON impulse I bought issues #1 - 7 of the current Green Arrow series written by Kevin Smith and the interaction between the two was absolutely perfect. These two characters get along so perfectly, and I would love to see GA animated. The artwork on that series is just a foot outside animated anyways.

As for Green Arrow's voice? Hmmm...I wonder if Conroy could make his voice a bit higher for GA....

Agreed, DG, this is the perfect team for those DTV movies. I haven't picked up any of the GA series yet, but I probably will after I get all the Deadman mini series, since everyone is praising GA so much. As for the movie, how about trying to get Smith invovled? How cool would that be?...

I read a graphic novel (I guess that's what it's called) in which Batman and Green Arrow teamed up to fight Poison Ivy. I really liked it. They play off one another well. He's definately be a good choice for the DTV series.
But I was thinking..some of the characters from Dini's DTV's will appear on Timm's Justice League show (I believe Wonder Woman was one, plus some of the others may appear in the JSA episode). So I was wondering if these two projects might contradict one another's continuities. I can usually overlook things like this myself, but I thought it might be an interesting point to bring up.

What do you like better so far? Smith's Daredevil run or Green Arrow run?

I can't wait to see Batman and Green Arrow team up for a animated flix ,hopefully thier interaction is as good animated as it is in the comics. Kevin Smith has made Green Arrows book a great read and has added great dialoge to the book.

I loved the issue when Green Arrow is talking about his old Batman influenced gear (he had stuff like a Arrow Car and Arrow Plane and I think maybe even a Arrow Cave I cant remember) and Batman says something to the affect of " God man did you ever have an original idea back then." The look on GA's face is priceless because he realizes he really didnt.

So far, I'd have to say Smith's Daredevil stuff. That blew me away. There are some things that I think could use improvements on Smith's GA stuff, but I'll reserve my final judgement until Smith's GA stuff is over.

True. There are way too many words. Too many useless lines that could be easily trimmed. And Smith shouldn't draw on so many superheroes from the DCU. Cause as a result, GA is starting to become a bystander in the story.

But overall, the comic series really rocks.

I'm enjoying his run on GREEN ARROW more than DAREDEVIL. DAREDEVIL sometimes felt like a challenge to read, and the art (while good) was sometimes so overwhelming. GREEN ARROW has the perfect creative team. I am really enjoying GA becuase I get to see alot of DCU Heroes that I haven't seen in a while, and the book has an honest to God mystery. although I'm thinking I may have it figured out. The interaction between BATMAN and GREEN ARROW has been top notch and I am eagerly awaiting this upcoming BRAVE & THE BOLD series Smith'll be writing.
