...but first...
500 POSTS! YEEE-HAAAWWW!! And to celebrate, it's a topic on the Simpsons!
But really, what IS your fav? Mine is Treehouse of Horror (ToH) 6, becuase it has a good running gag-Willie getting axed THRICE-we have terror (both the first and third sketch) and comedy-Homer in other universes is GOLD! Diamond, even!;) The end theme song is classic as well...
So what ones do you like best? :)

I LOVE the Halloween Specials! I don't remember which shorts appeared in which year's episode, so I'll tell ya which individual shorts I liked best.
1) That one with Bart's "evil" twin
2) The one where the teachers are eating all the students
3) The spoof of "Dracula"
4) The spoof of the "Omega Man"
5) That one where all the computers turn on them
6) The spoof of "The Shining"
There's a bunch more cool ones, but these are the first to come to mind.

The best one was the one with the krusty doll trying to kill Homer. That had me rolling around the floor in laughter.

Shopkeeper: "The doll is cursed."
Homer: "That's bad."
Shopkeeper: "But it comes with a free 'frogurt!'"
Homer: "That's good."
Shopkeeper: "The 'frogurt' is also cursed."
Homer: "That's bad."
Shopkeeper: "But it comes with a choice of topping!"
Homer: "That's good."
Shopkeeper: "The toppings contain potassium bensoate."
Home: "...."
Shopkeeper: "That's bad."
Homer: "Can I go now?"

My favorite is either the one where Bart was having a Halloween party, or the one where they had a spoof of the shinning. I'm sure there's a couple of others I can't remember now that I liked as well.

Some others I like:
Homer3 (3-D...)
Nightmare On EverGreen Terrance
Terror in Toon Town (IF only for Poochie and Regis!)
There are usually to many to list. The Munsters opener of the latest ToH had me laughing untill my sides hurt...
The Dork Knight

Might as well confess. The only TOH episode I am truly scared of is Homer in 3-D. For one reason. The way he looked was extremly scary to me. So please do not talk about that episode anymore? It gives me nightmares. Please? Hopefully in a few years I can grow out of this fear.

- The Shinning
- Desperately Xeeking Xena
- Life's a Glitch. Then You Die (Y2K)
- Bart Simpson's Dracula ("We had a story to go with this painting, but it was far too intense, so we just threw something together with vampires. Enjoy!")
- Time and Punishment
- The Homega Man
- Nightmare on Evergreen Terrace

There is no way I can remember them all right now, but off the top of my head, I liked the one where they found out Maggie was the alien offspring of those two aliens. In fact, I think I like any of the Halloween eppys with the aliens. And the one where Homer got that matter transporter, that turned Bart into a fly man. And the one where Ned was killed by the Simpsons, the one with the teachers eating the students...man, there are quite a few of them! Might be easier to tell you which few I didn't like!

That's true, there are way too many of them I like to list.

Sorry, but despite the odd humourous bits, the halloween episodes fill me with despair when I see that logo pop up on the screen. All the Halloween stories are tainted with badness....
The Krusty Doll is probably one of the best. And the Vampire one - when Grandpa comes in and tries to stake Bart unaware that he may be a vampire... you have to see it to appreciate it.... :)

What an odd little person you are. ;)
Last one I really liked was in 1995; those afterwards have all been kinda lame, IMO. But almost every single one that came before was a gem. But collectively, I think the "Shinning"/"Time and Punishment"/"Nightmare Cafeteria" special was the best collection of the bunch.
