Which browser do you use or prefer, Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape?
I'm at a college computer lab right now and their computers run Windows 2000, which supplies both browsers. I ususally use IE, but this time, I decided to go with Netscape. Ugh, this browser sucks. The browser takes longer to download things than IE does and its overall presentation isn't that great. I have no comment about the interface, because its virtually the same.
Netscape has some good things, such as its own webpage builder program and its own e-mail program built in. I don't know why IE doesn't have these things built in. Its either downloaded seperately (Outlook Express) or you have to buy it (FrontPage).
But besides those things, I'll say that I like IE better because its easier to use, more attractive, and its quicker. But that doesn't mean I won't ever use Netscape again. I'll use it to build pages...for free.

I use IE a lot, but I've really taken a shine to Mozilla. I kinda split between the two.

I use Netscape Communicator 4.79. However, most of the time I use Mozilla 1.2 . I don't use IE at all. Mozilla is just as quick, maybe even faster, as IE. The reason IE starts faseter is becasue it is already built into the system. Mozilla solves this by haveing a "Quick Launch" option. Netscape 7.0 is just like Mozilla. Try one of these.
EDIT: you can get Mozilla from www.mozilla.org .

While I have both browsers installed on my Powerbook, I'd prefer...neither of them, I suppose. They both have different flaws/faults. One browser I have sort of liked is the made-for-Mac-only (IIRC) iCab, a German-written browser that has built-in functions like pop-up ad suppression, banner-ad filtering, complex control over cookies, and less bloated a browser than IE. Though it does have its faults, that has been one of my more heavily used browsers for the last few years (with IE and Netscape as backups)...
Also heard a few decent things about Opera (another Mac browser) and Mozilla...

I prefer IE6 for Windows & Mac computers, and Mozilla for the Unix variety systems.

Netscape is near-dead, as "evil" as Microsoft may or may not be. Java has problems on Netscape, certain frames glitch on Netscape. . . . . it's a hassle to design a page that's Netscape-friendly. :p
Now, if they happened to create a browser that can keep up with the changing web, maybe I'd switch back. Maybe.
