What are Batman Beyond's best fight scenes?

As I watched the episode Final Cut a couple of days ago, I realized that there were some great fight scenes from Batman Beyond. I thought this would be a good topic for discussion.

Which fight scenes do you think are the best from the show?


Just to name a few in no particular order.............


1. Final Cut

Near the end of this episode, Curare goes after Batman in the weapons museum. The thing that made this cool in my opinion was when Batman started to shoot batarangs at her. She just kept dodging all of the batarangs while getting closer to her target.


2. Blackout

I'm sure that Inque will enjoy this choice. The best part of this episode? Inque vs. Batman in the batcave! Never has a villian in any animated series fought with Batman in his own lair!


3. Disappearing Inque

You can probably guess why this one is on my list. Bruce fights again! Woohoo! That exosuit was the bomb! The dynamic of having more than two people fighting each other is cool also.


4. Shriek

Why this episode? Where else can you find a fight that you can't hear anything but Batman's footsteps?


5. Meltdown

Again, the dynamic of having more than two people fighting. Mr. Freeze vs. Batman vs. Blight! Need I say more?


6. Untouchable

Now I know some of you didn't care for this episode too much, but the prospect of there being a villian that Batman couldn't defeat on his own was very appealing to me. I loved what they did with the Repeller's power. The only downside to this guy was that there was no way he could be anything more than a one-shot villian.


7. Return of the Joker

This is one of the best fights ever in my opinion. To finally see the Joker the way he should be, a cold heartless killer. Someone who would do anything to destroy the Batman and his allies. Also, for the Joker to have the same abilities that Tim once had as Robin was a great way of handling it.





I'm sure that I could think of more, but I would rather have other people do it. So, what do you think? Agree, disagree, so discuss already!

I thought the fight scene in "Mind Games" against that pale guy with the long white hair was pretty cool. I also enjoyed watching Kneejerk and his buddies fall apart as Batman whispered "April Moon" to them in the episode of the same name.

also, in "final Cut" when Curare was chasing him through up the places, you saw a front view of her hopping and jumping..it was really cool.

I agree with all of your other choices. I also liked the first fight scene in Curse of the Kobra Pt1..

I totally agree with whoever mentionned the episode "Mind Games". Was that the one *Spoiler Warning*



Where the little girl had mental powers, and Terry had to fight a floating old guy with white hair? THAT FIGHT SCENE ROCKED!!! It was so cool how the guy was using his brain powers to paralyse Terry (I can't call him Batman...sorry)! Was it just me, or did that episode look like it was animated with the same style as the TNBA episode "Torch Song"? The style looked more like TNBA than BB...I know it did....I'm not crazy:rolleyes:

the one i have is not really a fight but more like an action sequence that was genius. part one "the call" where all the heroes had a part in saving the city and the people.

The silent fight scene in "Shriek" has to be one of my faves, too...just the sounds of Batman's footsteps, and not knowing or hearing where Shriek's next sonic attack would come from...simply awsome, IMHO!

The Shriek fight scene and the Mind Games fight scene are my favorites fights.

Yeah, i agree w/ everything you guys have said. Also, i liked the fight between Shriek and Batman in Babel. It was brief, but it just seemed cool to me all the motivation Bats had. That whole ep had meaning to it, and i really liked the fight.

I found that one very special...That episode had very little if any sound..... A totally new take for TV toons. It was a great episode, and a great fight scene. Without the sound, there was a whole new twist. Something that is very hard to do, with all that has been done..

The scene in Final Cut was awesome as heck, too, but the above two totally took my breath away.

This was his first real battle.

The end of Robin's Recogning, where the fight is at the circus, Tony is shooting at Batman through the merry- go- round, gets wounded, and Robin comes to his rescue, is really great. That end, along with the rest of the story, make it one of the best. You see a side of Batman and Robin that was often left out. That story was especially well written, and somewhat believeable (to me) I enjoy seeing that one when I look at the original BATS. Among the best !!!
