As seen in some preview images in Batman: Animated, The Creeper was originally planned to play a bigger role in the "Gotham Knights" crew. Eventually, his role was dropped to a few appearances as Jack Ryder and one episode as the Creeper. So...do you think The Creeper should have had a larger role in The New Batman Adventures?

A BIG role? No. More appearances, yes. I think it was an interesting character and would have liked to have seen him in action against someone not the Joker...

Gotta agree there. I would have enjoyed seeing more of Mr. Yellow, but would have cringed if he had been a part of the main crew. It was hard enough fitting Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl and Robin into episodes, and there were still so many more things that could have been done with that group. Having Creeper as a bigger part of the gang would have would have really ruined things.

As others have already said, Creeper shouldn't have been a "member" of the Bat crew. That's just wrong, and I don't see why Timm or Dini would have ever pictured him fitting in as one of the group. I'm just glad they used him continuously and fittingly instead. I wouldn't mind seeing the Creeper make a Christmas appearance in TBA sometime in the future, though.

I wish he never had appeared to begin with. He was exactly what that show didn't need... more lightening up.

He should've made more appearances, but not outright started hanging out with Batman and Co. Now I feel like I bought that Creeper figure for nothing.

I don't think that he should have "hung" with the crew, but I loved his one appearance and more would be really cool... he was freakin' hilarious!

What kind of "bigger role"? I have yet to read Batman Animated, so could someone kindly elaborate?

I could have definitely gone for more Creeper episodes but not as a regular member of the Bat-team. In fact, one appearance in 24 episodes is fair - but if they made more episodes, I would have loved to see some "guest appearances" with our favourite yellow-skinned wacky man. :)

I totally agree Tim!
Creeper is one of my favourite characters, but I could never see
him hanging with the Bat crew.
Wish he had made some more appearences on the series though.

I liked the Creeper Ep. but I don't think it fit into the TNBA b/c of the darkness of it. I guess did try to lighten things up, but TNBA was not the series to do it. Yea, he made Joker look sane and was good interaxn b/t the two and Harley, but...it was good to introduce Creeper but I wouldn't like anything further done...

You bet your life I would have liked to see him as a regular fixture!

I liked his one appearance on the show. I'd definitely be up for seeing him more, (maybe 1 or 2 more appearances) but I think that they'd have to leave the sidekicks at home or risk having too many characters involved. They'd also have to make sure that the appearance doesn't feel tacked on. There's got to be some justification for Creeper getting involved.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I mean, it's not like he should take off the patch EVERY time danger arises.

I would have like to have seen him, though, in random episodes that would have been strange for him to appear in. Maybe like, against Mr. Freeze, or Ra's.

Humm Good question.

I guess I feel like most of you, maybe 1 or at the most 2 eps a season, that would have been fun.

Anyone ever wonder what would happen if BTAS Creeper met Scooby Doo Creeper?
Don't tell me I'm the only one that ponders these things!

...Scooby-Doo Creeper? So which museum curator or tour guide or senior executive turned out to be "the Creeper" on that series?

There's a so-so picture of him on the cover of the book
Scooby-Doo and the Carnival Creeper....
http://www.toonzone.net/store/books/scooby3.html

But he's from the original episode, "Jeepers, it's the Creeper!"
The gang is on their way to a school dance/hay ride when they come upon an accident scene and a semi-conscious bank guard, who gives them a mysterious blank paper. Later, at the dance, they find themselves being chased by the ghoulish Creeper, who wants the paper at any cost!
