i don't know if JL and STAS are the same continuity but i would really like it if "twilight" did mention the events in "the legacy." after the legacy, we have no idea what happened with superman and how he won the trust back from the people of metropolis.

Yeah it will, and also Batman Beyond's "The Call."

Cool! The more continuity, the better!

I like continuity with the events in Legacy, but The Call? That might mess me up, since I thought Batman Beyond was elseworld/hypertime universe now....

The only reason Bruce Timm said Batman Beyond was hypertime was to avoid being boxed into a strict continuity, not so people can toss Batman Beyond totally out of the window. I highly doubt the writers of JL r sitting around feeling they could totally ignore Batman Beyond if they wanted to. So until something comes along on JL making the events of Batman Beyond totally unapplicable (for example, Bruce dies), then consider it in continuity for now.

In "Twilight" I'm guessing that the link to "The Call" will be with Big Barda. Okay that was very obvious. (Duh) :D I bet the League will ask her to join and she'll say something like "maybe some other time". Okay probaly not.

I hope so. I can just here Darkseid now: "What makes you think you can defeat me, Kryptonian? You were no match for me before, and you are now a mere shell of you're former self. I may possibly be more proud of breaking your spirit than I would've been of making you my minion."
Coolness. I hope we get a piece of dialogue something along those lines.

I hope the JLU episode is just a rumor just I've always consider BB an elseworld, I really hope Oracle comes in the picture of the DC toon world so we can toss BB's continunity days goodbye.

I think that it will give a nod to legacy in that Darkseid and Superman will have met and will be on the same bad terms as after Legacy, but I don't see or want a "this is what happened after Lecagy" flashback. A comment about how hard Darkseid had made things for Superman would do. I think that Big Barda will be featured.
"Twilight" - twilight is the time just before sunset. This could indicate that the time of the new Gods is almost over. I'm hoping that the episode features Barda and Mr. Miracle's escape from Apocolypse. Their "defection" would give Superman and the Justice League the information and ability to finally take down Darkseid, hence the twilight part.
I don't think that Barda or Mr. Miracle will join the JL, but rather return to New Genesis for now. I would like to see the final defeat of Darkseid in a later episode.
Eventually it would be cool if Highfather were killed (if he can be) by Darkseid and Orion wages war and finally defeats Darkseid.
This could later set up for Orion becoming a tyrant like in the Crisis of Infinite Earth.

What I always found funny was how Bruce Timm and them said they wouldn't have a strict continuity because he said most of the viewers of JL would most likely have not seen the other shows, but I'm willing to bet tons more people watched Batman, Superman, and Batman Beyond on network television than currently catch Justice League on cable.

I agree. This episode has the potential for some great dialogue. Heck, this episode has the potential to be as good as "Savage Time," if that's even possilbe.

I really hope Michael Ironside reprises his role as Darkseid., and Michael Dorn as Kalabak

Michael Ironside is definately coming back to reprise his role as Darksied for season two! I'm not to sure if Kalabak will be there, or if Michael Dorn (I AM WEASLE!) will return to do his voice. I hope he dose.

Beyond is still just a possible future. Timm said that he put "an oblique reference to 'The Call'" in the script.
In other words: think of the lines in "Smallville" that hint at Clark's future.

I think that given that the team is extremely aware that the no.1 complaint last season was the portrayl of Superman, then "Twilight" stands a very good chance of not only being a killer episode but an apology for stuff like the ending of War World.
Maybe I'm blue skying, but I think the team would learn from their mistakes.

Kalibak will be back. I also read somewhere that Steppenwolf will, too. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw all the Gods of Apokolips that appeared in Superman, though.

From what I understand, Michael Dorn will be back as Kalabak. That was mentioned in another post.

Yes,it is a POSSIBLE future, but it is also the ONLY possible future;so there is no other futures to take precidence over it.Until they make a "batman beyond remake",or directly conflict with BB in JL(which it seems they are doing the OPPOSITE of)then Batman Beyond is canon.

Ok, ok...let's not turn this into another BB debate...
I'm greatly looking forward to this episode, regardless of what's being referred to...but I still expect "Legacy" to be heavily referenced throughout the season. It's about time they resolved the issues and storylines it opened up.
