I chose Disney. They totally go overboard with their censorship.
So did I, it's extreme editing a whole sequence from make Mine Music, the smoking from Pecos Bill, ect. Then they lie about their censorship.

I'd go with Disney. With the censored scenes in cartoons owned by AOL Time Warner (WB, MGM and the Popeyes) you get the feeling the people know better, but are doing in because they fear bad public releations in a major market like N.Y. or D.C. that would hurt the corporation (the "June Bugs" controversy being the classic example).
It doesn't show a lot of backbone on AOL-Time Warner's part, but that's different from Disney, where it seems like a key group of executives actually believe the PC gospel in their hearts and would see no problem in bad-mouthing some of the content from Walt's shorts and features if asked (these being the same people who have no problem releasing some of Miramax's raunchier stuff, because it only offends the right people in their eyes).

I picked Disney of course, but keep in mind of this one...
Back in the 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s, the Disney studios was just like all of the other hollywood cartoon studios.Disney made some PIC shorts in their hayday just like Warners, MGM, Paramount, Fox, and all the others.Today Disney stands as the number one poltitcally correct studio banishing any of the controversial cartoon shorts, the studio made decades ago.

Wellllllll all those losers over there in the top echelon of D*sn*y should be MIGHTY PROUD of themselves right now... They have managed to attain a Termite Terrace poll first, 100 percent agreement that D*sn*y is the most "politically correct" (and simultaneously most weak-kneed and morally bankrupt) of all cartoon studios!!! That's QUITE AN ACCOMPLISHMENT for a bunch of suits that don't know the first thing about drawing, humor, gag-construction, timing or much of anything else. I'd hate to tell them this, but if Walter Elias was alive he'd cuss them all out royally, spit in their collective-eyes and then can the whole lot of them for screwing with HIS cartoons!!!

Kinda makes you wonder why Roy isn't standing up for Walt's work.

Supposedly, Roy was the one who questioned the major expense-fests that Walt went on. The two examples I was given were "Flowers and Trees" (near-completed black and white Silly Simphony scrapped to become a three-strip Technicolor cartoon) and Fantasia (which nearly bankrupted the studio). So, editing content to protect some image isn't that far from unlikely, IMO.

Uh... wrong Roy. :p
Walt's brother, Roy O. Disney (the one you refer to) passed away in the early 1970s. Roy E. Disney is Walt's nephew and is the one who still works for the Walt Disney Company (he's on the Fantasia DVDs, for example).

I guess my vote had to go to d*sn*y. Anything un-pc from that studio is burned, so to speak. They try to hide reference to it, and act like they didn't do anything.
Who is Walter Elias?
Walt Disney's full name was Walter Elias Disney.

This poll may have been a no brainer. It could very well be a FACT rather than an OPINION that Disney is the most politically correct out of all the cartoon studios.
I hope someone at Disney sees this poll and is proud of it. :p

Disney. Way back when, they were as Un-PC as anyone else, but now, it's just sad.
I saw the Fantasia DVD today. I don't have a DVD player so I haven't really bothered to look at the DVD before. I noticed the clearly displayed, gold banner labeled "Original and Uncut" and nearly barfed. Can't someone sue over that for false advertising? I wish that someone would. Lying jerks.
I would buy Melody Time but I just gotta boycott that.

I'm amazed that hasn't happened already. At least one regular here tried to get their money back for the same reason.

My choice was for Disney, because they do the most editing. Anything that has international flavoring, violent intentions, or even smoking situations have been cut. Because Disney is the only one I know of that eliminates smoking scenes, I have to consider them the most PC.
However, after what happened in PA, DC, and NYC, I only pray to God that PC becomes abolished.
