Getting into the spirit a little early

Well crud.

For some reason, Photoshop 6 doesn't work on my laptop for very long before I get the blue screen of death and it reboots.

I installed Photoshop 7, but I got the same problem.

Anyway... we're doing secret santa on my residence floor and this is my present for the person I got. Although it'll probably blow away the secret... seeing as I'm the only one on the floor who can draw ^_^

Keep in mind I'm really out of practice in both drawing and CG-ing, I haven't done either for a really long time since I started university.

This was done using THREE PAINT PROGRAMS! And Paintshop Pro 6 sucks. :(

Aw, it's never too early for Xmas!

That would make an adorable Christmas card. So bright and chirpy. Very Christmasy too - I certainly would happily display that on my mantlepiece - not that I own one, so I may have to buy one or make one out of lollipops.

I know the feeling about paintshop. I have it as a backup on my mother's laptop and while I run the old version 5.0 of photoshop on my PC, to my aggravation, my PC would install version 6.0! Bah. Useless machine. Curse Paintshop and PCs too!

Maybe I'm just not that educated in computer drawing programs, but I certainly can't tell that it was done with different programs. I think the colors look fantastic (especially on the trees and jeans). Also, I love how you did the fur on the coat; it looks pretty realistic. The snow on the tree branches is done really well, too.

Excellent work. I'm sure Sophie will like it. :)

Whoops.... it took me FOUR paint programs, not three. Photoshop 6, Photoshop 7, Paintshop Pro 6 and OpenCanvas for the snow (PSP's not good for doing....well....anything in it).

Nope, it's supposed to be Sophie :) But that's okay. Asian girls look alike in pictorial form. Just look at Cassandra Cain and Shiva ;)

That really is lovely! And certainly not too early, I never mind getting into the X-mas spirit, even if it were July! It's such a warm and colorful pic, and that jacket is oh so perfect.

Hey, you said it, not me. I still think that all white girls look the same in pictoral form, too...well, if Bruce Timm drew them, that is. :D
