Private Eye Princess on CCF Tonight! (All Times are EST)

10:00 PM Private Eye Princess (Pilot)This is just a test pilot.
Here's a summary of tonights episode.
When this princess loses her castle, she hangs out her shingle as a private eye. Ably assisted by Fifigigi, she takes a case that has her tracking down some "walking jewels." But her menacing client, Mr. Meanie, seems to be hatching a plot of his own involving pudding and giant snow globes.

This looks like Mo Willem's art direction, but definitely not his writing. Unlike Sheep in the Big City, this pilot doesn't have any of his genious at all. No self-parody, no witty dialogue, no making fun of cartoon cliches, uninteresting plot..

I'm glad Mo is writing Kids Next Door. That will definitely be better than this.

I didn't like it that much. It was ok but it wasn't good enough to be a series.

The princess sounds like Snap from ChalkZone.

Okay, turns out it wasn't Mo Willem's art style. Well, technically, Mo's art designer could've worked on both, but because the show is from Pharoh Films and not Curious Pictures, I kind of doubt it.

And yeah, this was a piece of crap. Nothing redeeming at all. It felt like one of those Oh Yeah cartoons, ugh.

maybe that was eustace grabbing her in the screenshot saying "NO you will not deny me my tv, stupid" and then when she turned blue, he let go and went "booga booga' with the booga mask... and scared her off...

good riddance to bad rubbish.

and if she was a beautiful drawing instead of this scribble, I'd have wanted to watch this.urgh.

I didn't like it. It looked like Mo Willem's art style, but it lacked the creative writing. The characters wearn't that great either. Although Candi Milo did the voice of Private Eye Princess. That's about all this pilot had to offer.

To be completely honest, Private Eye Princess was just........odd. I didn't know really what to call it other than that. It looks like the delusions of a Hey Arnold animator on crack. And yes, she does look like Helga, doesn't she?

I'll admit, it WAS funny, but it seems that this cartoon should be treated as a one-shot joke. Kinda like a Saturday Night Live skit.

I liked the voice acting on the Princess, and some lines did have me chuckling but overall it seemed kinda half-hearted. I don't see it getting any funnier and running the gimmick into the ground as a series would be a huge mistake. 1 star from me.
