Wow, a full hour of Captain and the Kids. It seems like CN has hit a medical breakthrough; they've discovered a sure-fire sure for insomnia!

Well, "Petunia Natural Park" is pretty good, not only as a C&K cartoon (not a real high wall to climb there) but also as a late 30s spot gag cartoon of the kind Avery was doing over at Warners (which is why I think it had to be a Friz toon, even though there's no director's credit). "A Day at the Beach," wasn't a total loss, and they should have showed "Mama's New Hat," another Freleng C&K cartoon that had a few laughs in it.

Since all the B&W ones are in regular rotation on LNB&W now, it's not even unique to be showing them at 1 a.m. anymore, even if it is on the Acme Hour. But at least they didn't put "Quack Shot" or "Rabbit of Seville" on.
