In various WB shorts, one of the characters does an impression of this certain person. For example in the Daffy Duck short that was shown on Bugs and Daffy at 11/10c tonight, Daffy emptied out all the gunpowder from Porky's gunshells and said "Duck hunters is da cwaziest people!" Who is that supposed to be?

Lew Lehr was who they were impersonating. I've never seen anything with the actual person, though, but WB obviously liked him. My guess is that he narrated news reels.

That's right Jack - he narrated the Fox Movietone newsreels and often used the line "Monkeys is the cwaziest peoples!".
