Tell you the truth, I'd never heard of those guys until Cartoon Research advertised the set. But if it's from the same guy who came up with something as intriguing as Batman, I wouldn't be surprised if it's wonderful.

Matthew~
Actually the series has been discussed briefly before... It's somewhat like a slightly more serious version of "Batfink" (if you can imagine that ;) ). Bob Kane later went on to create the animated "Cool McCool" as well. Kinda makes you wonder what comic history would have been if Kane had kept on working at the cartoon studio... Orrrrrr if he'd have risen in the ranks and ended up making a mark in animation.

Don't let a plug on CARTOON RESEARCH mislead you into thinking its wonderful.
Unless you grew up with COURAGEOUS CAT (like I did) or are a TV Cartoon historian/completetist, I do not recommend this collection. These cartoons were produced by Sam Singer, whom I've dubbed "The ED WOOD of animation". He produced the worst TV cartoons I've ever seen (including POW WOW THE INDIAN BOY and BUCKY & PEPITO - there are good reasons you don't see these cartoons anymore - confidentially, they stink!).

I've seen some episodes of this somewhere (maybe on Nick? They definitely used to air Batfink) and it was pretty unremarkable. I would definitely pass. There's probably something that you know you like that's more worth picking up.
