Well so long Courage you were quite a amazing dog. Heres my talback. Rembrance of Courage's Past- This short was a cute and sad one I was hoping for Courage's parents to come back but they didnt I give it a 5/5. Perfect- Ienjoyed this short. All of Courages dreams were on the weird side but this was a good way to end the show I give it a 5/5 also. LONG LIVE COURAGE!

If this was the final it goes out on a good note.
I found both of those episode very good. Finding how Courge came to live on the farm was good. Too bad he didn't get to see his parents.
Perfect started a bit weak, but the ending makes up for that.
4/5

Nice of the show to go out with a bang. Detailing Courage's past as well as whipping up a bunch of cheap computer effect sequences, hehe.
Not the greatest episodes, but fun to watch. "Perfect" was probably the first (and last) time Eustace said 100% new material, instead of recycling lines like they've done in past episodes.
A couple of qualms though. Why do Courage's parents talk? Doesn't make much sense, considering that Courage doesn't know how to talk in season 4.
And, aside from the claymation sequence, the Courage dreams were starting to get annoying and unnecessary.

i enjoyed the courages past one but i found the perfect episode to be well.... to put it mildly i think someone was on crack when they wrote this. tal kabout plot holes? a lot of them! what was that lady doing there i nthe first place? and where the heck did that fish i nthe bathtub come from? i know cartoons are suppose to be silly but i like things to make sense in some small way. i give courages past a five and perfect a 3.

I dont think there were plot holes, courage is just supposed to weird and occassionally inexplicable. I liked the dreams, some were very surreal and eerie, like that blue CG face and where muriel broke into bits.
I'dve liked the ep better if it wasn't the last one and therefore the most depressing...
Positively NO chance of any more?

Oh my god, this was the best epsisode of all time.
Remebrence of Courage Past-Who's geinus idea was it to put flashebacks into little boxes on the screen? This was PURE geinus. Great writting. Greatest epsode yet.
Final score: A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++...Ok, I'm going overboard. :D
Perfect-This episode was just silly. The "surprise" was just funny, but some of Courage's dreams freaked me out. (Especially the one with the guy saying "You're not perfect". I'm still scared about that one! :eek: ).
Overall socre: A++++++++++++++++++++++++-

Time For Courage Talkback!
"Rememberance Of Courage Past"
Heartwarming, And A Rather Funny (But Throwaway) Innuendo. Cute Is The Order Of The Day, And The Storybook Style Was Unexpected. The Music Rather Reminded Me Of "Yoshi's Island", And We Get A Look At Why Courage Is So Traumatized, And How Muriel And Courage Met. Second Only To "The Mask" And "Perfect" In Terms Of "The Perfect Courage Episode".
I Give "Rememberance Of Courage Past" A Gold Star.
"Perfect"
Well, "Perfect" Was Indeed, Perfect. The Courage Dream Sequence Was Unexpected And Oddly Amusing, The Plot Was Sheer Gold, And The Animation Was Top-Notch. It Had A Pretty Sucky Beginning, But The Millions Of Easter Eggs Throughout The Episode (Di Lung's Cameo Was Hella Funny), The Many Hints Of "Sure, This May Be Our Last Episode, But We're Giving It Some Odd Hints Of Series Closeur", And The Amazing (Though Generic) Ending (One Of The Best In Courage History), Made Up For It. Plus, Seeing Yet Another Large Amount Into What Makes Courage Tick Was Done Impressively. This May Just Have Surpassed The Mask For The ABSOLUTELY Essencial Courage Episode.
I Give "Perfect" A Gold Star, And Cheers To Good Ol' Dilly For Ending (???) It With A Bang.

Rememberance of Courage Past- This was great in everyway, except Courage's parents should of been saved and brought bacj to Earth, but its still wonderful 10/5 stars!
Perfect- Creepy, but seemed cut short. Why did they end
with this one and not the other? The wizard of oz scenes were
cute.
Its too bad they didn't make a wizard of oz-type episode.
Its kind of odd that the last scene of the show (if it is the last episode) was showing a fish laughing on the table.I wish we could of saw a Christmas episode in Season 5, maybe an evil
Easter bunny episode, and some episode featuring Muriel's past and her parents. I would of like to have seen Icket Bagge, in a flashback alive or something...hopefully Season 5 will come. But its not an absolute sure thing :(

These episodes were theh best I've ever seen. Rememberance of Courage Past was funny, entertaining, and it told us about COurage's past, which was very sad. I too think that the dreams were like Yoshi's Island, and it wouldn't surprise me if Dilworth was inspired by the game. Overall, when an show makes u laugh, feel emotion, and entertains you, you know it's good. 5/5
Ok now, we need to clear up a few things on this whole Perfect episode. First of all, the fish was the fish Muriel was going to cook. Second, that lady didnt really exist. It was Courage's mind. He had been doing everyting wrong, and getting yelled at for it, so he actaully unintertionally created the disipline lady in his mind, which shows that he wanted to improve. He kept trying and trying, but it never worked. The scene in th bathroom was one of the most touching and true to life things I've ever seen. It explained how theres no sure thing as perfect, and that as long as you do what you can, you're doing fine. Once Courage realized this, when the woman came back, he did what he could to make the numer 6. ANd even though it wasn't the way she wanted it, it was still 6, and courage did it his way. After he did that and stood p to the fact that he can only do what he can do, the lady disappeared (in a weird way yes, but still she left his mind) The dreams never got tiring to me, they were very funny. The claymation one was great. The whole episode had so much art in it that it was amazing. And to clear something up, Courage has never been able to talk. We can hear him speak, and so can a few others like the Duck Brothers, but humans cant. thats why he babbles. Its true that he doesnt talk as much as he used to, but he still does sometimes, usually at least once in every episode. This episode needed to be broken down, but since some people arent good at that, I did it for you :D
All in all, these 2 shorts were the best way to end season 4, and maybe the whole show. They included humor, art, emotion and lessons of life. I couldnt have been happier. Another thing I like was how they went into Courage's character deeper, which is something they haven't done since season 1. We've seen Eustace's and Muriel's character alot lately, but Courage has been doing the usually; save them. This was great. I love these episodes, and I love Couarge. It's one of the greatest shows ever made, and u need to be mature to see that. Thank you John R. Dilworth, u made my life a little better. Courage may be a little weird sometimes, but you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks again John, u made alot of people happy.
