So I just stepped on a piece of broken glass and left a blood trail from my computer to my bathroom. I'd really like to not loose the cleaning deposit on my appartment, but I can't seem to get the stains completely out. Anyone know how to get blood out of carpeting and cotton?

Never mind the stain - Grab the fire hose and rappel down the side of the building before the roof blows!

You can try hydrogen peroxide.

Most apartment complexes offer free steam cleaning for carpets, usually once a year. Otherwise, get a spray bottle of carpet cleaner and try that.

Later.

LOL!

Anyway, if you're a drinker and poor, try cheap vodka.

Otherwise there's this new stuff in stores that's suppose to kick the hell outta stains.

Might wanna try that.

You could always dye it red...

Yippy Kie Yea Mrs. Tucker! *Ahem* I think the peroxide would probably bleach out the stains, but that would only make it worse. I'm also pretty sure that my place doesn't get free steam cleaning once a year as to the errmmmm crappiness of my appartment. The vodka might work, but I would probably end up just drinking it. A girl at my work suggested Woolite (sp?), but I have my doubts. I used Resolve on the blood stains and now they look like catchup stains, yet this still doesn't resolve (haha) the matter of my cleaning deposit. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I used to have that same problem. No one really noticed till the girls started missing around campus. I mean, umm why didn't you just hop on one foot?

I did hop. The stains have a more splatter pattern to them. It's not a constant trail, more like 6 to 7 one inch splatter marks in the places I landed while hopping to the bathroom. I actually thought about leaving the creepy blood footprint on the side of my bathtub :D , but figured it was an all around bad idea to leave dried blood anywhere.
