Ok this is news is a bit old. on the top of this playback mag article (http://www.playbackmag.com/articles/magazine/19990111/24243.html?word=Kevin&word=Gillis) is the story that Racoons is finally getting new life with a new D2V called The Knight Before Christmas Plus Bert from the old Racoons series is getting his own series called The Adventures of Sir Bert.
Not bad for a animated series that has out of production for 10 years both studio that did its production are bankruped and since then has been bounced from owner to owner (which till now was only intrested in rerunning it). Hmmm if Racoons can get new life I wonder if other old animated series can too. Plus this has to be a record this series just won't die. I mean yhea Mickey mouse has been in and out of production but Racoons the studio that created Racoons went bankrupt then it went to another one and they produced more eps then they when bankrupt as well then Racoons was pasted like a hot potato for year. I don't think any other series has had the chance for renewed life after so much bad luck
Think about it if WB does go bankrupt (and look at their intellegence it is bound to happen one of these years) maybe WBA cartoon will meet the same fate and eventully land on the laps of someone willing to give them life again. I know if WB does bite the dust I would try my best to get my hands on one of them.
