Betty Boop invades Acme Hour. Ko-Ko right behind her.

Not bad, not bad at all. I hope this B&W thing keeps up! And even the color cartoons were good selections. And, like Argus said, I believe this is Betty's first foray into Acme Hour, correct?

No, Betty's been in the AC before--though technically it was a Whiffle Piffle short and Betty was a secondary character. It was the one where W.P. goes west with aspirations to be a cowboy.

The edit in "Baby Buggy Bunny" was pretty clean; I couldn't recall where it belonged. Though they did show a couple of things other networks have cut in the past (after that stupid Beavis and Butt-Head cat controversy), and I commend them for that.

A novel take on the spinach mythos in "I Likes Babies and Infinks" with Popeye mistakenly grabbing a can of onions and making all the adults cry, to the baby's amusement. Pretty fast iris-out though--anything get cut?

"Homesteader Droopy" gets a little overplayed. Sorry about that, but it's the law of the West.

I'm wondering if we'll see a lot more B&W and borderline un-PC shorts with the show only on after midnight rather than first airing at one p.m.? Maybe some of the heavier-themed WWII shorts like "Daffy the Commando", "Confusions of a Nutzi Spy", or the one with Daffy and a Mata-Hari type dame?

No, CN does that to ALL the black and white Popeyes, when show in B&W.

The last title you mentioned is "Plane Daffy", which DID air edited on the late night BUGS & DAFFY during the week of christmas.

Speaking of that week, does anyone remember when CN aired the rare T&J cartoon, "The Lonesome Mouse" during the DAY (on the 6AM Yule Toons)? Maybe they thought EVERYONE would be opening there Christmas presents that day, and NOT watch the AC. I personally got up at 5AM to open my gifts. :p:p:p
