My dear friends, the time has come... :D

That's right: After entirely too many questions, threads and requests devoted to my upcoming trip to NEW YORK CITY, the time has come to bid you all a fond farewell. Before my departure, however, I had to drop by and say a few 'thank you's:

To all the DC CREW (you know who you are ;) ), thanks for the advice on the main offices. If I can manage to get a peek at the craziness that is your profession, you bet your booties, I will!!!

To n8wing, I'd like to offer an extra big internet hug *squeeze* for all that you've done. Never dreamed I could ever trust someone online - thanks for changing my mind ;)

And of course, I'd especially like to thank all of you for your camera-related warnings, you're kind wishes, and your info (Ace the Bathound ;) ) which will all be put to good use. It must have taken a lot of restraint to not bann me from these boards since all I've been talking about is NY for the last two weeks, but I think that's simply a testament to the kinds of people we have here at Toonzone. You're all dear to me - See you on Monday!!!

P.S.

Just so you know, I called Borders (the store where Vonda Shepard sang tonight) and begged the manager to get her to autograph a cd for me to pick up!!! I can hardly wait!!! And yah, I guess I was a little naive for thinking I could tape Phantom unnoticed, but I wouldn't be so tempted if Andrew Lloyd Webber got off his keister and released a DVD edition of the show!!! Oh well. I plan on visiting several museums, the Empire State Building, the site of the Towers and (of course) Phantom. Give my regards to Broadway!

:p

"If I can make it there, I'll make it (bum bum) AN-Y-WHERE!!!
IT'S GOT TO BE NEW YORK......
..................NEW YOOORRRK!!!"

Well, it's more like Metropolis these days. If you wanted Gotham, you should've seen it around here during the 70s and 80s.

You'll have fun... Just to magically end up at PeepLand... If you dont know already you dont WANNA know :p... Have fun, stay away from the guy that is selling gold chains (cause they arent real), and if you see a movie star walking down the street DONT disturb them because they will have a dog or c ell phone on themn (to call cops) and will dodge you at a given chance.

also dont eat the hot dogs at the street vendors, play chicken with a cab and stay BEHIND the yellow lines at the subway stations :p

Ahh....NYC. So many memories.

Be on the look out for a black homeless man with braids. If you see one, read his sign. You'll laugh....hard.

No I'm serious. When I went there was a homeless black man holding up this sign. It said....

Need money for beer, drugs, hookers. Hey, at least I'm not BULL******* YOU.

He's pretty popular there. I guarantee he gets more money than any other homeless man. He let us take a picture of him with us for a dollar.
