"Looney Tunes Fairy Tales Special"

A programming note...Cartoon Network will air a three-hour "Looney Tunes Fairy Tales Special" on Thursday, May 17, 2001 between 9:00pm-12:00midnight Eastern. Based upon the promo that I have been seeing on CN (plus the TV guide listing as well), it will all be classic W-B cartoons with a children's story and/or fairy tale connection to it (i.e. "Bugs Bunny And The Three Bears", "Little Red Riding Rabbit", and others).

So, set your VCR's or circle that programming guide you use on that date as a sort of welcome relief from these mundane "Cartoon Cartoon" blocks that CN has playing as of late. This is a special event I am personally looking forward to now.

I was going to post a reminder about this as well. Oh well, I just made William's post "Important" instead. Other clips on the commercial I saw included "Tweety and the Beanstalk" and "Three Little Bops".

Ya know what would be nice, if CN showed "Bosko's Woodland Daze" - since that's a fairy tale like cartoon - and it stars Bosko. And I think another total surprise would be of they aired "Coal Black and De Sebben Dwarfs" or "Goldilocks and the Jivin' Bears."
But we can only see what'll happen - remember they're playing this thing around prime-time hours (9:00-12:00).

I have doubts about those three (racially charged:rolleyes: ) titles (I mean, they won't even show "Frigid Hare" at 2am!).

But I'll watch it, anything to get away from Scooby and the Cartoon Cartoons for a while:D .
