Mask of the Phantasm or Subzero

I'm finally making my X-mas list and I'm only allow to get 3 DVDs my first choice was Spider-Man the movie and then Powerpuff Girls the Movie and I really want a Batman DVD movie but which one should I get. MOTP or Subzero??? I heard that they are both wonderful but I need you guys to help me.

While Sub-Zero is enjoyable, you gotta go with the Mask of the Phantasm DVD. Not only will you get arguably the best Batman movie ever made, but you'll also get to see the worst trailer in the history of all cinema,

As if there was ever really a choice... you MUST get Mask of the Phantasm. It's the best animated movie of all time and the best Batman movie of all time. Plus, the sound on the DVD as well as the Widescreen is awesome! Oh, and the trailer, you gotta watch that just to see how incredibly bad it is!

Mask of the Phantasm, definately. The DVD isn't the best, but the movie certainly is. :)

No, sorry ... Mask Of The Phantasm. Far better in every respect. I recommend Sub Zero only if you want your second purchase - which should be Mask Of The Phantasm if you have sense ;) to top the first! :D

The only problem with getting MOTP is that no other will beat it. Well, except ROTJ... - there! I said it! :p

Mask of the Phantasm, no question. And while you're at it, could you get one for me, too? :D

I've never seen the infamous MOTP trailer, but IMO the only bad thing about that movie is the song played during the ending credits. I just don't like that song, and to me it doesn't seem to fit the movie plot at all.

Anyway, MOTP is the best Batman movie ever made, and is probably my personal favorite movie of all time. And I watch a lot of movies. Subzero was good, but it was just like an extended episode of the series. MOTP had this different, grander feel to it, like it was something completely out of the ordinary. And it was.

Mask of the Phantasm, all the way.

Of course, you could always forego the Powerpuff Girls and get Subzero too! :D

Sub-Zero does play out like a longer episode. It's a good movie, though, butnot great. Phantasm does play out like a great movie, even if the running time is a tad short. While both are movies, it almost seems unfair to compare them, as Sub-Zero is abit out of it's league, here...

Definitely Mask of the Phantasm. I've got both, Subzero on tape still actually but I would want MOTP way before Subzero. Kinda like one movie you can wait till later for, and one you should really really get now! Hoping for the complete Batman movies on DVD from my grandparents this Christmas myself :D

so storm, are you asking for opinions on the dvds (quality, extras, etc) or the movies?

if your asking about the movies, are you saying you havent seen either??

if so, thats kind of cool cause you have new stuff to watch. ;)

anyway, like everyone here has been saying, mask of the phantasm really is way better than subzero. its my favorite batman movie ever. it really is just great and shows just why btas was so great. it rocks. i give it 5 stars, a 11 out of 10, two thumbs up, my highest ratings all around.

and just wait till you see it, it will really blow you away. its so awesome, one hell of a movie. GET IT NOW!!!!! hehe, or for xmas. peace.

Wow thanks guys for the help well I did mark down Mask of the Phantasm on my Christmas list :D I'm gonna save up money to buy Subzero next.
