JL vs JLU & Batman (Beyond)

Who do you thnk would win if the two animated Leagues went head to head.
The Justice League - Superman , Batman, Wonder Woman,Flash, John Stewart(Grenn Lantern), Hawkgirl & the Martian Manhunter

vs

The Justice League Unlimited - Superman, Barda , Green Lantern, Warhawk, Aqua girl & Micron w/ Batman ( Terry)

This could be a interesting battle The future Superman is more experinced and possibly more powerful. Barda is a impressive warrior & Terry has a advance batsuit that is full of tricks due to Bruce Wayne himself.

The contest would most likly take everything each team had,
but the winner IMO would still be the JL (no U) just because of the versitility of J'onn and the speed of Flash.

I think Superman Beyond would win becuase he's been exposed to 50 more years worth of sun, putting him at his peek. This was explained a wee bit in KINGDOM COME. I think the current Superman woildn't win. He'd be just no strong enough.

As much as i love Terry, i sometimes think grumpy old Bruce could still win against him. But then again, i am pretty biased:)

I too must go with the JLU on this one.

First there's the older Superman, who as DG pointed out has the 50+ years of yellow sun exposure as well as the experience over the younger version, as well as his knowledge of the JL. Then there's Batman (Terry) and GL who should know quite a bit about their predecessors.

The JL's only real advantage in this fight would be Flash & MM, neither having a counterpart in the JLU.

The real deciding factor comes down the the older Superman with his experience, knowledge, and raw power.

okay, let's get this straight. TERRY would NEVER join the JLU. Old JL would kick the Future JL's ***** b/c the JLU had too many weak links. I don't know who is on the old team, but they have to be better than AQUA GIRL, MICRON, and a 4 yr old GREEN LANTURN.

The classic Justice League would win based simply on sheer power since the Martian Manhunter is nearly as powerful as Superman and he's a telepath and he can turn invisible and he's a shapeshifter. Everyone else pretty much matches up.

Oh yes, and then there's the Old League's most powerful weapon: Bruce Wayne's mind. Terry's a good kid and all, but come on. Old League hands down!

Here's how it goes down, Wizard "Last Man Standing" style...

Darkseid returns to full health after having his butt handed to him by Supes in "Legacy." While he was out of commission, Highfather and Orion managed to bring Apokolips to a state of peace. After biding his time, Darkseid unleashes his minions, slays Highfather and Orion, and takes back Apokolips. It is now time to resume his conquest of Earth. To his dismay, he finds that Earth is now protected by the Justice League Unlimited. Devising an evil plan, he uses a new and improved Boom Tube to send the JLU back in time, then tricks the team into squaring off with the original Justice League.

Superman vs Superman: Talk about a clash of the titans. This round would cause some major property damage. The two versions of Supes would duke it out for hours with no clear winner. In the end, though, the added experience and prolonged exposure to the yellow sun would net the older version of the man of steel the victory, knocking the younger version unconscious. JLU - 1; JLA - 0

Batman vs Batman: Forget the matchup we saw in the Batman Beyond #1 comic book. That was Terry vs. "old man" Bruce Wayne. That was almost a close call. This is Terry vs Bruce Wayne in his prime. No contest. While the fact that Terry posessed a futuristic version of Bruce's own arsenal would throw him off guard at first, Terry's undisciplined fighting style would lose out to Bruce's advanced skills in a matter of minutes. JLU - 1; JLA - 1

Hawkgirl vs Warhawk: This one would be a freaking massacre. Not only does Warhawk have more advanced armor and weapons than Hawkgirl, but this guy is one angry fellow, and she's just a sweet little girl. He'd beat the daylights out of her and then go smoke a stogie. JLU - 2; JLA - 1

John Stewart GL vs Kid GL: We don't know a whole lot about either of these characters... but if it's gonna come down between a black guy and a little kid, my money's on the black guy. I'm not being racist or nothin, I'm just saying, let's think about this. JLU - 2 ; JLA - 2

Wonder Woman vs Barda: This would be a fun one to watch. Um, I mean... Wonder Woman would probably win. She's a better fighter, she's a freakin Amazonian Princess or whatever. Barda's bigger and meaner, but I gotta think that Wonder Woman knows a few more tricks than Barda does. That, and she could tie Barda up with her lasso.... if Cartoon Network will allow that. JLU - 2 ; JLA - 3

Martian Manhunter vs Micron: Micron could mess with Martian Manhunter for a little while, by getting real small and hiding from him. Or something. Not really. Martian Manhunter would find him with his telepathic powers and then lay the smack down on him. Come on, Micron was out of commission for like weeks when he was in a train that derailed. A super hero should be able to take that kind of abuse and keep going. Manhunter by a mile. JLU - 2 ; JLA - 4

Flash vs Aquagirl: Non-fight. Flash would flirt with Aquagirl, she'd develop a little schoolgirl crush, and they'd go on a date. JLU - 2 ; JLA - 4

The winners? The JLA, baby. Of course, the real showstopper would be when the heroes realized they'd been duped, and the JLU Superman, the Bruce Wayne Batman, the John Stewart Green Lantern, Warhawk, Wonder Woman, and Martian Manhunter went to Apokolips to lay the proverbial smackdown on Darkseid. BOO YAH!

Actually, I don't really agree. Shayera is Warhawk's mother, is she not? So, he'd reconize her in one way or another. Of course, I don't think of Shayera as a 'sweet little girl'. She's nothing of the sort. I don't think Warhawk would sink as low to hit his own mother, right? Shayera, not knowing that he's her son, might think he's just another Thanagarian. So, Hawkgirl vs. Warhawk would be unpredictable if you don't know how each of them is going to act.
