Oh my God.

A few weeks ago, I discovered this website (http://www.beeftaco.org/index.html) on my browser at work (I work part-time at a computer lab at my university). I had no idea what its purpose was, so I posted a thread here called "What is the Most Pointless Website that You've Ever Seen?" (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=51084) to start a thread on odd websites. Then the site's creator found out and posted here (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?postid=481499#post481499).

I thought it was a goof, until I revisited his website just now -- he's updated it, complete with a link to our old thread! Apparently they're honored by the designation as "Most Pointless Website," and he's even using some of my ideas for sprucing the site up (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?postid=482038#post482038).

Looks like our ramblings here have quite a bit of significance on websites other than animation-based ones. Just thought you'd get a kick out of this. And, hey, support Beeftaco.org while you're at it!

Huh, interesting. I didn't even realized that had happened. How did he find out about the thread?

Perhaps Toonzone is more well-known than we think.

Karkull, thanks for the email...I just got back in town and haven't had a chance to reply yet...

My site statistics allow me to check where people link from and I found this board. Thanks for the continued plugs...unfortunately I'm too busy with my last year of school and job interviews to put any real time into it. I'll let you guys know when something is actually on it :D

Being from Maryland, have you ever heard of the band OAR? They're from Rockville...definitely worth checking out if you haven't yet. Their message board, which I post on a bit more often, is http://www.oarfans.com .
