That animated short "The Tom and Jerry Cartoon Kit" is one of my favorite Gene Deitch episodes. How nice it is to see that hilarious cartoon every once in a while.

Wow, that really makes no sense at all. Either CN still has a few bugs to work out, or they've lost even more respect for the classic cartoon fan. It's one thing to repeat cartoons from the 7 AM Bugs and Daffy on the 11 PM edition, because it's a safe bet that the average mainstream Joe Shmoe cartoon watcher won't be watching both shows. But it's an entirely different thing to repeat the cartoons from one night's 11 PM show on the very next night! I really hope this is just a bug CN's trying to get ironed out. I guess we'll know tonight.
On the other hand, let's hear it for last night's Acme Hour. Three B&W cartoons!

This is how the new Bugs & Daffy schedule seems to work:
7am - 8am: Repeat of previous day's 2:30pm - 3:30pm show.
2:30pm - 3:30pm: New.
11:00pm - 11:30pm: New (??). Well... after last night, I'm not sure what they are doing with this.
3:00am - 3:30am: Repeat of 11:00pm - 11:30pm show.
