Anybody else like the look of Batman's alternate costume in 'The Savage Time?' I thought it was REALLY cool. I would've liked to see THAT Batman and his crew's struggles against Vandal Savage and his Nazi regime before the JL made their appearance. Would make a cool alternate story arc in the comic or something.

I was okay with the new uniform, it gave Bats a more military vigilante feel than complete "striking fear" we get from the regular set. After seeing Part 3 yesterday I was wishing (just a little) it had been a four-parter, with the JL jumping through the portal at the end of Part 1. That would certainly have given time for a fight, and some "military Batman  ."

Later.

I would've liked them of made their escape on the Batmobile to show more of the modified BTAS instead of that old train. The end of the Batmobile looked bigger possibly so that it could carry some troopers so they would've fit. I guess the train was just more convient.

I thought it was pretty cool. Really liked the touch with the short ears. Not seeing his eyes was kinda freaky though, so used to seeing at least the white eyepeices that Batman has in his cowl. But it really worked for the alternate future "Bats", the military look worked well.

This Batman would be the best choice if he ever gets costume change in JL:TAS. I liked how "military" it was and enjoyed it. I was just upset about the shortage of lines that he got (Where is the bats people?!).

Did that Batman outfit remind anyone else of Robocop? hahahaha...cause that was the first person/thing that popped into my head when I didn't see batman's eyes...

Hmm. . .

Maybe they should re-use that design, or something similar, if they ever need Batman to make/haul out some kind of Bat Armor. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be powered armor there, but it would be cool if it was.

Anyone wonder why the alternate timeline Batman operated out of Metropolis rather than Gotham City?

Bats seems to have developed an odd fascination with Metropolis. Lots of people have also wondered why he was cruising the streets of Metropolis in the Batmobile in Injustice For All.

Anyone else think the odds are good for this costume showing up as one of the inevitable variant-costume Batman action figures? :p

Actually the armor reminded me more of the armor he wore in the first Firefly episode of BTAS. Forgot the episode title though, but I remember that armor having eyeholes in it.

Yeah, looking back, it did look a lot like Robocop.

And I wondered about the Metropolis thing. Especially when Dick and Barbara (and Tim?) appeared. Is there even a Gotham in this alternate future?

One thing, he was never referred to as "Batman" by himself or his army once. I'm assuming that's what he calls himself since he had no reaction to the JL calling him that...still...

That didn't seem like a batcave. Are there bats in Metropolis? How would Bruce Wayne become Batman in this timeline? Where's Alfred?

I'd better stop before I end up making people think I disliked the ep. (LOVED IT!!!)

Wait, I have one more question...but I'll put it on another thread.

ROBOCOP

it was cool but it can't beat the classic

"Nothing would make me happier."

Perhaps he came to Metroplois to investigate the interference the Resistance experoenced over their comlinks.

As for IFA, I don't think months had spanned. I think they put Luthor in Stryker's ASAP. Then a few days later he broke out. That may explain why Bats was still in Metropolis. Do you think Luthor would sit idly in prison. HA! He was probably gone before the ink on his fingrs dried.
