Anya - The human turned vengeance demon turned human turned vengeance demon again.....whose now human. *phew* After Xander left her at the alter that she reverted back to her old ways to take another shot at the whole punishing all of mankind on the offhanded wishes of recently wronged woman gig again. Then went to far and got stabbed by Buffy.

Spike - This once dangerous and deadly big bad of slayers for hundreds of years got his start as a rather dorky poetry writer and part time hopeless romantic. Since his meeting with the current slayer, he's been used and abused more times than a piece of toilet paper at Anna Nicole's bathroom. :o In his latest attempt to break free of the hold Buffy had on him he ventured to Africa to regain his true badass vamp hood only to return even more clinically insane than his ex Dru was in season 2. Instead of receiving the guts to be able to stand up to her again, what he actually got has since made him afraid of his own shadow...dum dum duuum...a soul!

Willow - Once an up and coming apprentice of all things witchcraft, she was one of Buffy's bestest friends and most valued allies in her quest against evil. Struggling with her constant 'addiction' to majicks she ended up abusing her gift and slowly deteriorating to doing more harm than good. That not being enuff of a blow to her fragile self-esteem and self-worth, Buffy and Giles had already blamed her for wrongly resurrecting the dead slayer from the supposed peaceful afterlife, the final straw came when some guy shot her girlfriend. With that all bets were off! She used her knowledge of majicks to become a force unlike any had ever seen, eventually terrorizing those she once called friends in her mad rampage to seek revenge on the guy responsible for her lovers death she did the unthinkable in the form of a quick flaying of his skin like a raw piece of Popeye’s chicken. After prematurely leaving her United Kingdom 'rehab' with Giles, she returned to Sunnydale unsure whether she would ever be able to look her friends in the eye again. We know she still has that destructive power since it's now become apart of who she is, but questions remain:

Can she control it? If pushed, will she relapse? How will she ever make up for her sins or is it even possible to? And the most curious question that I know is on everyone's mind right now....is she still a lesbian cuz she's lookin' mighty fine this season if I do say so myself?!? :D :D ;)

So there that is.

Who's got your sympathy vote right now: Reverted Vengeance Demon Anya, Looney Vamp with a Soul Spike or Tamed Wiccan Gone Bad Willow?

Speak now or forever hold your....oh just say what ya gotta say! :)

Oh geez, that's a hard one! I feel sorry for all three of them. However, since Spike is my favorite character at the moment, I'll go with him. He has gone through the most character changes in the show, and he can never seem to get a break. The episode when he went in to that church...gah, that was really depressing, I just felt plain bad for the guy.

He is a sap for love, but he can never someone who will love him in return. Cecily was horrible to him, Dru was very insane and cheated on him w/Angelus right away, Harmony...let's not get in to that, and Buffy admits herself that she is simply using him.

Not only this, but he is slowly going insane with guilt and such. Anyone notice how very quite he was in the last episode? He is kind of just standing in the background now, it is depressing.

I really hope something goes right for him in the future, the bleached one needs some happiness and fast.

Honestly? The poor and very sad James Marsters.

He might as well get kicked in the teeth while the writers are at it. :D

Not that Spike would be anyless cute with a bruise on his face. :p

Poor Spike has been screwed over by the writers time and time again. Anya and Willow had their bright spots and their somewhat blissful moments, while this poor guy's been put through the vampire version of hell.
