With that in mind, it's possible that 'Little Tinker' will be uncut.

Just when does the Pac Man Christmas Special air?

From one side, this schedule is somewhat disappointing because there are very few rare cartoons, especially outside of T&J. From the other side, I am still happy about the Acme Hours.

Don't get your hopes up. Cartoon Network rarely brings out better prints for one late-night showing.

I have to agree. I don't think they're playing any Speedy cartoons for awhile. I hope they're not planning on banning him again.

With Bugs & Daffy gone, Speedy should be airing on the Saturday Looney Tunes Show. His absence from there can make people worried.

For 11/17 on the CN site, under The Popeye Show, it says "Episode #27", but no actual contents.

Even though the information has been mentioned elsewhere, it was not posted on the official website. It makes no sense for them to not post the contents.

Yeah, but I'm a bit concerned that their not showing any of his cartoons in November or December. Unless, I missed the cartoon titles on the schedule like I did with "Tom Turk & Daffy."

Also I thought Mammy was no longer rare, but they only brought a few back into regular rotation ("Puss gets the Boot" and "Puss N' Toots", along with ones that were brought back earlier "Dog Trouble" and "Sleepy-Time Tom"), I bet those will be gone soon :(

Do you think they removed B&D so Speedy would never be on?

To be fair, most of the December Tom & Jerry shows haven't been announced yet (as far as I know, I'll need to check again sometime). You might want to double-check, because you'll notice "Saturday Evening Puss", "Triplet Trouble", and "Mouse Cleaning" will also be showing up again soon. I no longer am putting those titles in bold, that may what have thrown you off. :)

That certainly would be a sneaky move, although I doubt it. Replacing B&D with Acme Hour seems like too much just to remove one character. Bugs and Daffy will hopefully return eventually, but with or without Speedy is a big unknown.

They really should put "Bugs and Daffy" back on in the evening, like maybe at 9pm, like they did before. I'm pretty satisfied with the afternoon schedule they have now, but I usually get bored at night, so that would be a good time.

That is good for the short term. Speedy aired quite frequently for some time. It is one character (hopefully temporarily) replaced by three. It also could be that I am biased due to what cartoons I want to see at this time.

They do NOT have an agenda against Speedy. That's just stupid.

By the way, the Popeye Show episode titles aren't up because I don't think the CN programmers have the exact information as to what titles are being aired. If you recall the second season, the episode titles for those didn't appear until a couple of weeks later as well.

Well, it's reasonanable for people to think CN DOES. CN did, after all, ban him for three years, and now all of a sudden Speedy is absent from the schedule.

I still wish they'd air some of the earlier ones.

They should put rare cartoons scatteringly on weekdays.

I agree with Jack; it is reasonable to think Cartoon Network pulled Speedy and then covered up the evidence. After all, they did make other sneaky movies like taking "His Mouse Friday" off the schedule. I really think that Speedy is getting a break after the frequent airings, but the other point of view seems logical.

Yes, they should show everything chronologically on weekdays, including all parts of the Acme Hour, without skipping the rare cartoons... I can dream, can't I? ;)

Of course they don't. That's why they refused to show the cartoons and belittled the fans of them until the problem got too big to handle.

Time will tell what's going on. I would guess they're just taking a break, but nothing would surprise me at this point.

But, many cartoons CN withholds are NOT offensive. Several Popeye cartoons that we don't see often include "Mess Production", "Nearlyweds", "Gift Of Gag", and others.

...may I point out a few things? First, they have pulled shows from the lineup before, to bring them back some months later, because they rotate programming. Second, they seem to have established a pattern to Acme Hour, primarily showing things which have little or no real chance to be shown anywhere else on the schedule but on AH. Third, before they took of B & D, they'd shown the majority of the 43 or so Speedy cartoons at least once, some twice. Fourth, I remember quite a few complaints regarding constant replays of the same cartoons on both AH and the LT programming blocks, yet when they take shows off to give them a rest, CN gets torched here on that as well. They can't really win here, it seems. I look at it this way: they've run or have scheduled to run most of the non-T & J MGMs (except the Boskos) which, other than the Tex Avery show and maybe Toonheads, have no place else to go, the Famous Popeyes (which I personally think are average at best, at least the later, post 1946 or so are) that a lot of you wanted run on The Popeye Show and they brought back LNB&W. Is CN what I'd like it to be? No, but it's better than Toon Disney and I doubt most of you here would like my dream version of CN much more than the current one. My advice is, be patient with CN. Enjoy what's on now, because it will change significantly (again) no later than Feb or March, at the latest, maybe as early as Jan.

I have updated the schedule a little. A few more T&J and LT show contents are up now.

Just a quick note about changes happening Dec. 2:

Tom and Jerry replaces Toonheads at 11:30pm.

Tom and Jerry will repeat at 2am, instead of 1am.

Acme Hour will repeat at 1am, instead of 2am.

Got that? Now go re-program the VCRs again. :p

Speedy is finally scheduled to air on the Looney Tunes Show! :) There goes the theory that Cartoon Network was pulling a prank.

That's a lot of changes for a schedule that will last only one month.

It seems like your wish came true Jack. Because they're gonna air "Speedy Gonzales" as well as "Snow Excuse."

However, I'd wish they'd repeat "Music Mice-Tro" again.:(

"Speedy Gonzales" is only one earlier cartoon; who knows if many others will air or not?
