These two look alike, way to much. I can't help but think that Howards suppouse to be a spoof on him. Was he voiced by Paul? I'm even betting that the episode with Cynthia was probably based on something in his adolecence. Am I just crazy?

Maybe, but Howard was indeed meant to look like good 'ol Paul:) Actually he, and a lot of other characatures of great people, show up in all the various series'.

Yeah you can find that all over the place between BB, BTAS and TNBSA. Like in Mad Love, Harley was dootling her Joker obsession on a piece of paper, and at the top she drew a small picture of her OTHER obsession. A small Paul Dini-like head. I think it was him in the background of the same ep in an Arkham Assylum cell, putting his tongue on the glass. Oh Paul, get well soon. I'm sure you'll want Harley as your psychologist.

The production team loves to do that kind of stuff. The inmate liking the glass when Harley walked into the room was Dini. I believe in the same scene one of the other inmates is Timm, but I can't quite pin him.

The clerk/villain in "Beware the Gray Ghost" is modeled after Dini.

Alex Ross loves to stuff Timm & Dini into his work when he can.

Nope, Howard wasn't voiced by Dini, but it sure looks like him.

More Dinis:

The fat fake Harley in Joker's Millions.

Fanboy in Freakazoid (which was largely designed by Timm)

I thought that the "Mad Bomber" in the Grey Ghost episode was supposed to resemble Bruce Timm. The character was voiced by Timm.

The bomber was modeled after/voiced by Timm. The heavyset video store clerk strongly resembles Dini. Could be worse; the artists could've drawn a Dini-like gorilla or something.... ;)
I wonder if Dini modeled Harley after some ex-lover of his? Now that'd be twisted...

I looked at the video clerk after you'd mentioned this before. Aside from a certain rotundity, I don't see much resemblance between the clerk and any of the pics (or other known caricatures) I've seen of Dini. But if Fanboy was also modelled on Dini, I guess I could be wrong.

In Batman Animated, Dini admits only to having modelled Harley partly on Arleen Sorkin. It also includes Dini's own original sketch of Harley (who looks nothing like the finished design), so there's obviously a complicated and not-at-all-straightforward history to the character.

Bruce Timm does an awesome job in Beware the Grey Ghost and he's a pretty good Joker in BB as well. Its too bad that we don't see him picking up any other roles.
