To Mr.Gak and everyone from TTTP, I have an excellent idea for Cartoon Network, and I would like evrybody's opinion on this subject matter.

I came up with an idea for a great program for CN, and let me tell you about it.

The program could be called...
SILENT CARTOON SHOWCASE , this could be a weekly half hour program that would feature(from the teens and twenties) silent cartoons from the "Golden Age Of Hollywood", such famous cartoon characters will be shown.
Koko The Clown
Krazy Kat
Oswald The Lucky Rabbit
Felix The Cat
Dinky Doodles
Gertie The Dinosaur
Mutt And Jeff
Jerry The Gob
Aesop's Fables
Bobby Bumps
Happy Hooligan
And many other famous silent cartoon stars....

This would be an excellent show, and it could be shown like say, during late night viewing hours for adults.I think with a show like this, Cartoon Network could really be a TRUE LEADER in the cartoon world if they could pull of a show like this.

So what does everybody thing of my great idea, I would lkie to know :)

That sounds GREAT!
I hope CN takes this idea.
I think that Jon, Matthew, Brian, or Jack
put it as "important" on our board so the GAK could see.

I agree, it is an excellent idea! I'd really like to see more of those Disney-produced Oswald shorts other than GREAT GUNS and MECHANICAL COW. The other cartoons sound good too. You can see GERTIE THE DINOSAUR on a "Walt Disney Presents" episode. It's called Walt Disney Presents: the Story of the Animated Drawing. :D :)

Come on fellas, Make this post "VERY IMPORTANT" to Mr. GAK, this something really good here, and it would make an excellent part of Cartoon Network's late night line-up, just picture this for a second.

And coming up next on Cartoon Network
DROOPY...2:30AM EST
And then it's
SILENT CARTOON SHOWCASE...3AM EST

Now wouldn't look real nice to see on a late night on Cartoon Network? I know I would love to see this :D :D :D

Come one guys, who's with me on this ???

I'm really pitching this new idea of a show to Mr. Gak and Cartoon Network, for one thing, Valut Disney already have an avantage over CN cause Valut Disney shows silent cartoons all the time.

And after watching a couple of silent "Alice Comedies" last night on "Vault Disney", it gave me this great idea for a new silent cartoon show of mine to submitt to Mr. GAK and the rest of the folks at Cartoon Network and that's how I even came up with the name of the weekly half hour series, "SILENT CARTOON SHOWCASE".

If CN wanted to go with a program like this, then they would be considered a "True Leader" in the fields of the animated cartoon, and I just hope that someone will pay attention from CN and give some major thought of my proposed idea to launch such a series of American Animation from the era of silent film making.

I'm just glad that a lot of you, my toon forums brothers support my new idea for a cartoon show, and it means a lot to me..and all I can say is thanks :)

Just keep up the support for my new silent cartoon pitch, and let CN know that (we the cartoon fans)a cartoon show like this should be on CARTOON NETWORK!!!

Thanks everybody!
You're The Best!:D

To all TTTP posters from GAK:

The idea of a silent cartoon show has already been discussed around CN. I may (emphasis on "MAY") create a silent cartoon special for Christmas Eve, entitled Silent "Cartoon" Night.
If it does well, we "might" consider doing a weekly show, but that's WAY down the road.
BTW, thanks for your posts, encouragements and enthusiasm!

I sure hope that CN will show Krazy Kat, Felix The Cat, Mutt And Jeff, Col. Heeza Liar, Oswald The Lucky Rabbit and so much more...

Thank you Mr. Gak! and please present this silent cartoon special that will hopefully lead into a regular series.
