Alright I'd say this was the first FPS game I've ever owned and carred about. The other was some utter Versus, no story FPS game that I got rid of a week later.
I can finally see what all the frellin' huh-bub was about with Bond. I never thought cappin' Evil Communists in the back of the head could be so fun!
Or the satisfaction of nailing the perfect sniper shot or simply lining up your pistol to pop a cap between the eyes of some poor sap.
This games sheer fun and the pathetic thing is I'm still stuck trying to be the (no pun intended)First Dam(n) Level!
I've gotten as far as the top of the damn when I thought I'd completed all my objectives when another one pops up on the screen.
TAKE DOWN GUNSHIP!
"What?!"
Next thing I know there's a frelling jumbo helicopter rainin' pain down on my head along with a host of other soldiers that I can't seem to hit with my gun turrent.
What's everyone else thing of this game? I can't stop playing it!
'Timesplitters 2' is the game Halo wishes it could be. (I'm sorry folks, I really dislike Halo)
The multi-player is enjoyable! I love playing with my mom, as we are the FPS junkies in our family. That, and the graphics are incredible. I LOVE this game. Though I'll probably wait until after 'Metroid Prime' to get it on Gamecube. ^_^
In short: BUY THIS GAME! It's so freakin' fun, words can't describe it! =D

I will but I have a pal that works at Block Buster so I want to get him to rent it first. If I get thsi Job at The Gap however for seasonal work, I'll most definetly be picking up both.

I want TS2..yeah. I want Metroid more though. Simply because of the things I've heard on the IGN boards (from the Cube.IGN editors--they go on and on about how good it is. I fell on the floor after reading 2-3 pages of the thread. If I read anymore, I'd be at GameStop camped out right now..). I'm waiting to get TS2 used--cause as good as GoldenEye was, I honestly didn't give a poo about it. TS2 looks like great fun though, even though the demo I played on XBOX sucked (controller maybe?)

I didn't dig too much on Golden Eye either. I'm not sure if it was just because I jumped on the "Bond Wagon" too late to see what everyone else was snappin' about.
But if TS2 is any indication, I now know what all the hoo-ha was about.
Get both!
....if you can.

Question.
I'm getting served proper doing normal mode. If I punk out and use the easy mode, do I get the "Ending For People Who Suck?" or do I get the normal progression of the game?

Yeah, I spent ALL WEEKEND two weeks ago to beat the first level...hard stuff.
True story: I got the game one Thursday afternoon and take it over to my buddy's dorm room later to check out the multiplayer - he leaves the door to his room open and his suitemates stick their heads in to see what new games we're playing. The look at the game for like TWO SECONDS (remember, they had never played this game, it had JUST come out that day) and say "Yeah Halo's better than this. And SOCOM. Anyways, this game sucks. Halo is better."
I kinda shot 'em a look, then I blew the heads off of some Zombie Commies and said "yeahmaybe". Morons.
Anyways, this is a GREAT game. Definitely a must-have. Hard as Hell, but fun nonetheless.
