Well I've finally gone and unearthed sketches I did in my high school years and started scanning them. So I'll post them here over the next week, enjoy!

I thought I'd start off with one I always liked, Terry and Dana from Batman Beyond. Dana I had just free hand sketched from an existing picture, but Terry I think I did all on my own.

Those are great! I love pencil sketches. Isn't that Dana based on the shot of her dancing in the intro to the show?

Dana is seriously stunning Barb. An amazing job is done with her face! The shadow behind Terry is a nice way to make the reference of Batman/Terry.

We need more Batman Beyond on this board. :D

Dana is one my favourite BB characters, she's just so gracefully animated. Terry is a lucky - he really should sort himself out... tut.

The Tiny Terry (hey that sounds like a cool kids comic character!) has a great shadow in the lower one - like the Phantom Menace poster with Anakin (you know the one!!)

Coolies, Barb! Dana looks cute and I like Terry's pose there, especially with that Batman shadow in the back. I also like the shadings on this sketch.

Thanks for the replies all! It's funny how there are some pics where, no matter how long ago you did them, are favorites and sometimes bette then current things you're working on! Here's another pic. It was for an RPG that never got off the ground that involved Vampires. My character was a Vampire hunter called Shane:

Cool! I just love things that involve vampires :D You just drew her hand so delicate and perfect! I simply can't do that, hands are definitely not my friends :mad: I loved her jacket ;)

I love the Heero and the Shane. I think I remember a long long time ago you post two Escaflowne pictures, one of Hitomi and the other of Van, with Hitomi looking at him I think.

Yeah, those are lost among the back pages of the drawing board. I think you're recalling the one where it was a backshot of Hitomi looking at Van in the distance, whose wings are showing, he's sitting on rocks. It's the ending scene of the series.
