CASEY JONES NO LONGER LOOKS LIKE HE WALKED OUT OF A JASON MOVIE !!! YAY!!! XD
I gotta say - these new designs look pretty sweet. I wonder if Casey will keep his baseball bat to whack things silly with? I always did like the reserved Casey a little bit mroe than the whackjob we got on the original cartoon. :D
April's all modern and hip now No yellow jumpsuit! O__O
I'm slowly starting to like Splinters design more and more. The toy design we saw earlier wasnt as fleshed out as this one, and he looks more rat-like. Me likes.
Thumbs up! ^^

Awww, I loved the yellow jumpsuit. :p Now April looks like any other modern cartoon female with a midriff  . The turtles look good, Splinter's gray color looks great, and I'm glad the hockey mask is gone from Casey.
Later.

Are you kidding? Yellow and April O'Neil just don't go together. (well, OK it did in the late 1980's)
Casey, well, at least he is no longer a Jason-wannabe, but I always thought the hockey mask was a part of his "vigilantee" persona. Besides, considering he barely showed up except occasionally in the original series, he could be a more interesting character this time around.
As for the Turtles, they definately got Raphael and Michelangelo right on. Leo looks a little too serious, as does Donatello.

Here are my comments on the designs:
Casey: He looks really really cool I love the new revamp look and I wouldn't mind if he wore the hockey mask for a epsiode or two :p
April: Am I'm the only one who doesn't mind the new look, I'm happy they trashed that thing. April in the comics was strong and independent and the jumpsuit would of made her look silly in the new series. Thumbs up for the reporter with spunk
Splinter: Hooray go Splinter!!! I'm digging the gray look!!!!
The Turtles: Leo, Don, Mickey, and Ralph look marvelous!!! They 100% really look like their comic counterparts!!!! I'm very pleased.
The Final Thought: The new TMNT series looks promising and hopefully I'll be a current watcher of the series. I think TMNT are making the right comeback and hopefuly this series will have a promising four or five seasons!!!! I can't wait for the new series, the new action figures, and new games!!!! Here is to TMNT for a promising successful year(s) on Foxbox!!!!

They look about the same as always, though I'm getting tired of midriffs... seems like a cliche in 'modernizing' characters.

These designs for the new series are awesome. Splinter looks older than before but still cool. April looks much more attractive than she did in the old show, plus more young, spunky.
Casey Jones looks a lot like Elias Koteas portrayed him in the movie. Plus, in the new cartoon we get to see him without his mask, nice touch. As for the Turtles, simply put, they make me more eager to see this show than ever before.
In one word, COWABUNGA! Bring on 2003!

I love the April design, I just wanted to trash the darn yellow jumpsuit from the 1980's.
And yes, I can somewhat see Splinter as a grey rat, since it would link him more to wisdom. (but I don't see why they could not keep him brown)

Yep, they all look pretty sweet, and they also seem have somewhat of a "X-Men: Evolution/Jackie Chan Adventures" combination feel to it.
Casey Jones-"Looks like a Bronx boy and thankfully that outfit doesn't looks as ridiculas as the Casey from the original Cartoon Series was. I like it.
April-Her new look gives the feel of a rookie working hard to get up the ranks and sassy, and doesn't try to hide her sexuality like the Yellow Jumpsuit did. Pretty Sweet Look I say.
Splinter-The Grayness in his fur makes him look older and distinguish. Love it.
The Turtles-Updated a tad bit but still have that old-school feel to it that we love.(Though I would like to see them with their own personal outfits once in a while, like that black ninja suit Raph wore in a few issues in the comic series.)
Looks like this series has great possibilities, and hope Shedder will be in there.

The Turtles and Splinter look great. 'Nuff said.
Really liking the look on Casey Jones, although if the mask isn't there at all, I'm going to be dissapointed. It definatly shouldn't be on all the time like in the original series, but would like to see it once in awhile.
April..... well, I don't NOT like the look, but, like Digu Volz said, the midriffs being added to characters in hopes of modernizing them is getting old. And, hey, I actually liked the yellow jumpsuit. :p But it's an okay character design.
Now, if we can just see a few villians character designs, then I'd be satisfied 'till the actual show starts.

I agree. April dose look pretty hot. Looking back on the yellow jumpsuit from the 80's cartoon, It dosen't seem realistic for A reporter to wear. When you watch the news, do you ever see A reporter in A jumpsuit? I think not. (In the movies, April was dressed like A real reporter.) April's new design give the impression that she's A rookie reporter (If she's still gonna work as A reporter.) who looks down on the "talking heads" of the media. Casey dosen't look too bad either. He was kinda ond dementional in his few appearances in the 80's cartoon. He was better portrayed in the movies as A bronx boy who accasinally wore the mask as A vigilante when he needed to. His new design kinda harkens back to that.

I'm looking forward to the series and I think all the redesigns look great so far. The first thing I said to myself was "Casey Jones looks awesome" That could be because Casey is first, but we won't dwell on that. ;) Seriously thought April, Splinter and the Turtles all look fantastic and I'm glad I actually stopped by here (something I rarely seem to do anymore) and found this. :)

Very sweet designs. Little bit of X-Men: Evolution influence.
Now if we could just see Shredder and the Foot.

All of the new designs look amazing and you can tell that they used the old comics and cartoons to come up with a design that would welcome fans from both areas. I've been looking forward to this series since it's announcement and this only makes the wait for February all the more grueling (TMNT, Static Shock, Daredevil the Movie - February is looking to be an amazing month).
