No idea for the next 3 Treasures (although, The Reluctant Dragon is finally the full-length version), but technically there is no censorship done for the DVDs.

The Three Little Pigs on the Silly Syphonies DVD is from the 1943 re-release version, which had the Jewish peddler redrawn as a generic salesman. This was OK'd by Walt Disney. The alternate original scene is in the Maltin intro.

Some of the cartoons are from reissue prints which lack original titles.

Oddly enough, Disney's print used for The Skelaton Dance has music over the opening and closing titles which seems dubbed. It's probably not from a reissue since it still has "Columbia presents" on the card. I'm guessing the soundtrack was used from a reissue.

It has been rumored that Clock Cleaners was censored, but I cannot find the dubbed part that has been talked about.

Steamboat Willie on the B&W Mickey set will probably be the 1950's reissue version with the concertina pig teats scene cut out, but that was excised from Walt Disney's preference.

Hahaha. You might as well give up on Disney DVDs if you're gonna ask if they're censored for every single one! You know I've come to the conclusion that the censorship of things are inevitable. EVERYONE has become way to sensitive about EVERYTHING. I've heard that ignorance is bliss...

Have they been censored? No, Disney just wouldnt put anything that may be offensive in the DVD! Im still angry because I cant even see Song of the South. I mean, sure, it may be racist, but let me decide how to feel about the movie. Dont decide for me. I really hate how companies feel they have to censor things because they think people will "boycott". I mean, you know what? No one is making you buy the movie! Put a warning that it may be considered offensive on the box somewhere and let me see it. I mean, some of the most controversial movies have been the most influential. Birth of a Nation anyone?

Exactly what I was thinking! As long as that **** Eisner is in control, there’s no hope! IMO only download 100% uncensored Disney cartoons from the net, and get the platinum editions of a select few movies like Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella (I’ve even been contemplating getting the bootleg of those just to show my protest). Eisner and his goons can stick their censored DVDs up their filthy little noses!

Huh???? The DVD copy of the Japanese LD is VERY good!! Even has extra features! So again, screw Eisner and get a hold of it!!

Birth of a Nation anyone?

That movie KICKS ASS!!! ;)

And for its time it was the same achievement as (say) Star Wars Episode I or Harry Potter today. And it’s considered to be the foundation of how movies are made today. But of course because the mainstream press doesn’t like its content these facts are largely ignored today. But at least the censors could not/did not repress it on DVD!

It is not a rumor. "Clock Cleaners" is censored on the Mickey Mouse DVD. It's the scene where Donald is fighting with the smart-alect clock spring. They've dubbed in Donald saying "Aw, nuts!" during the part where he original said "Sez who?!" (the audio was obviously lifted from some other cartoon --- listen closey and you'll hear a dog (possibly Pluto) barking in the background). Also, some audio of Donald quacking was dubbed over a part where he originally said "You doggone snake in the grass!".

The cartoon is available, in its original form, on the videos MICKEY'S CRAZY CAREERS and CARTOON CLASSICS: FUN ON THE JOB.
