I read the name of the BB: ROTJ was intentional, as a homage to Hamill's work on SW: ROTJ. I like it. It's a cute little injoke and a cool name.

With the history BB:ROTJ has had (for us Batman fans especially) everytime I read "ROTJ" I read it as the excellent Batman Beyond movie. But only at first of course. Afterwards I read the context of whatever I'm reading to see what's what.
I'm not sure I could compare the two though. They seem like different genre's of movies/styles/characters. That might not be totally accurate to many, I'm sure, but they seem in different catagories inside the scifi world to me....
But without a doubt it's times like this that I wish I could pick my favorite Batman Beyond animated movie from a nice list of more than 3 or 4. But I won't be getting that.

Yeah - I even occasionally get them mixed up and show collegues Return Of The Joker instead of Return Of The Jedi. After a brief moment of despair upon being lumbered with a cartoon, a quick reminder that no ewoks play about in Return Of The Joker enables the party to sit and watch the superior of the two films.
In fact, many friends have taken to fitting BB: ROTJ into their special edition sets as they feel it makes far more sense as finale to Star Wars than Return Of The Jedi did....

When I think of ROTJ, I instantly think BATMAM BEYOND. I'm not a SW fan, so BB: ROTJ is just more predominant to me instead of SW: ROTJ. Still, both are good movies. I do plan to get SW: ROTJ on DVD becuase it'd look great. Then again, an unedited BB: ROTJ would be even better...
