For Polls, there's an option at the bottom of the screen that you click if you want to make a poll, after you've finished your post, click submit and it takes you to the Poll Generation page.

For Spoilers, you use the follwing VB Code

(replace < >with [ ])
<spoiler> </spoiler>

For example

I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts...dee da la dee dee
There they are standing in a row... bum bum bum
