I don't know if this has been covered here before or not (please forgive me if it has), but I recently read the third and fourth books in the manga, and I noticed that there is a story about a killer noh mask that decapitates people. The events fall between Inuyasha and Kagome meeting Nobunaga, and them meeting Shippo. Did they cut it out entirely, or does it show up out of order later on? It was a little graphic the way Rumiko Takahashi depicted it, and I wasn't sure if CN execs axed it.

The episode will air after next week's episode. The anime version of the Noh Mask episode is toned down from the manga, so CN shouldn't have a problem airing it. It's a cool episode!

Speaking of editing, there is one story arc that is omitted from the series, the one dealing with the Peach Man founding in volume 9 of the Viz manga. It's really just a filler episode that deals mainly with how Inu-Yasha overcomes a foe when...oops, can't spoil anything. :D
Anyway, yes, the story arc with the noh mask will air after the next episode. Although they did kinda shift a few of these arcs around for some reason.

Actually the peach man story also shows up later, I believe around episode 40.
