30 Days of Night (Discussion)

First off how many of you have heard about this hot comic? If you haven't here's basically what its about "In a sleepy, secluded Alaska town called Barrow, the sun sets and doesn't rise for over thirty consecutive days and nights. From the darkness, across the frozen wasteland, an evil will come that will bring the residents of Barrow to their kness. The only hope for the town is the Sheriff and Deputy, a husband and wife who are torn between their own survival and saving the town they love." I was also wondering how many of you have issue #1 and/or #2 and what do you think of the story? Is it as great as everyone is saying? How many plan on picking it up? I have been trying to get #1 on ebay but the prices keep going up past $50 which isn't something I want to spend on a single comic at the moment. I'm hoping that a TPB of 30 Days of Night comes out with a few extras in it. Also if you haven't heard Sam Ramini (Director of Spiderman) has already agreed to direct the movie for 30 Days of Night.

30 Days of Night #3 came out this Wed. but my store didn't get it in. Also recently some new news has came up, there is going to be a 30 Days of Night TPB coming out this Jan. for $17.99 that has a few extra pages not in the original comics. I recommend everyone to pick up atleast the TPB (Since the first issue in its first printing is going for $50 and up!).
