Hi,

I am writing a speech about Batman for one of my classes and I need the following information if any one has it and would like to help.

1. Who wrote the comicbook "The Killing Joke"?

2. Who wrote the comicbook "A Death in the Family"?

3. In Frank Miller's "Batman: Year One" there is a part where Batman starts saying something along the lines of "I am vengeance...I am the night...I am..." I don't know this quote verbatum, but would like to if you know it.

Thanks everybody

1) Alan Moore

2) Jim Starlin

3) I don't recall this line anywhere in Year One, although it's been a while since I read it. I know that line was in one of the early episodes of Batman: TAS.

I think the episode was "Nothing to Fear" in which he said that line

Yep...that was during his fear hallucination in NOTHING TO FEAR.

"I am venngeance. I am the night. I am Batman."

Man, I think he copied Darking Duck or something. :D

Yeah. His big qoute from "Year One" was the "I shall become a bat" speach, where he's talking to his deceased father.
