Hi folks! Strictly speaking from the standpoint of a simple nerd, I'd like to ask that as many people as possible stop watching kids WB. Cartoon Network now has all the rights to every animated Batman series and Movie, and with their horrible programming watching kids WB seems to be pointless. Coincidentially, buy a copy of the Batman Beyond movie! If sales are high they would logically want to "cash in" by making another one!

There's nothing really worth watching on KWB anyway, so I stopped watching it regularly after the BB/Zeta crossover eps...

I'm sorry, but I still like a few of the shows on Kids! WB. Anyway, I'm not planning to boycott it anytime soon. I definitely think that Cartoon Network is emerging as the better network, but I still enjoy watching some of the Saturday morning shows on Kids WB. Hope you guys don't mind!

I think you're preaching to the choir here... most of us on these boards stopped watching KWB after they yanked Batman Beyond. There's just nothing on I want to see anymore.

You are not the only one out there without cable! I don't have it either..And I am not sure that I will ever get it...Maybe for the toon channel, but I haven't got a computer yet either.. this is written at the library.. Lots of reasons. At least I found this board..so much great info..but the writers are right, Kids WB doesn't care about us. only 6-11 year olds. Good luck to all

I don't watch the net anyways - and don't plan to. There's just nothing to watch there anymore.

It doesn't matter whether I watch or not. I'm not a Nielsen household.

You raise a good point, Larry. It's just like when people all push that we should watch something so it gets better ratings. There are only 3000 house holds in America that are Nielson households, 3000 families that hold our beloved animated shows in the palm of their hands. Isn't that just WRONG?

I just wanted to post a reply that addresses the boycott....That's a noble effort there (I stopped watching long ago as well) but if you want a real affect on KWB, get a petition going or a letter writing campaign going. Just turning off your TV means nothing to KWB.

There's still Men in Black on Kids WB. And how about Jackie Chan the Animated Series. I thought it was pretty good acutally.....

Most of us haven't watched it since BB was taken away. There is nothing good on that network anymore, kinda like there is nothing good on Nick anymore.

Well since it looks like kidWB will be airing Heavy Gear I'm forced to continue watching the channel. That and I like Jackie Chan.

I don't bother watching KWB anymore. I have switched to Fox Kids which offers re-run of Spiderman and Big-Guy and Rusty and hopefully Escaflowne.
I would like to agree with Tim Drake on Men in Black. It was especially well written, and continued accurately with the story from the movie. I do not know if it is on the fall schedule. That is posted elsewhere. I do know if they take it off, it is proabably because it operates at a level of sophistication, intelligence and satire, that is in general , way over the heads of the younger viewer that Kids WB is aiming for. They will just get bored and not watch. and that is all that matters to Kids WB, how many are watching. When they signed that original deal with Pokeman, thier ratings went thru the roof. Men in Black was the first TV Toon that I liked, that was in my opinion very poorly animated. It proved to me, that the story, and they way the characters act, and react, can be much more important, than the quality of the animation. Some of the Men in Black characters, made the show very special....And the possibilities were endless. Agent A, was a very good villian, as were a number of others...I do not think any new shows are currently being produced, but I am not sure...:D

Nope, MIB is gone. That's part of why we are, too.

Don't forget to add Histeria! to the list of axed shows!
Three good shows gone....sigh. Maybe we SHOULD start up a letter-writing campaign or something....Jackie Chan simply does not intrest me.
And yes, I'm not watching KWB either. Have not watched it for months, though I am guessing some have not watched it in YEARS.
P.S.: 3000 familes ONLY?! Oh, man....I gotta lie down...

Not many liked Histeria...I loved it, and have said so in other posts. Richards Stoner's music, combined with some of the best saterical bits on history ever produced, made it a good show. Some of the jokes were subtle, others were outrageous. Originally, Kids WB signed on to 65 shows with Rueggar, it came on at about the time of Pokeman...2/3 thru season one, they reduced their commitment to 56, or 55 shows. It was about that time, that I noticed that Kids WB was starting to go after the younger, and less sophisticated audience. Because of Poleman's incredible ratings) Network TV is all about money...They took off Star Trek, then brought it back in 7 or 8 movies, 4 shows, and now Paramont is set to try again with another Star Trek. If that is successful, it might, I repeat, might revive the old series and movies and make them much more valuable....Unfortunately, it is all about money, and ratings. I once met a producer of movies, and although he was considered a great talent, all he thought about was the revenue stream, and what the movie would make, I'll tell this story at Termite Terrace soon. It is about Fritz Freeling.

KWB has become an expert in letting at least me down. TNBA was handled poorly, and I thought "Legacy" would never be shown. Now "Unmasked" is the carrot being dangled in front of me by KWB. What's next?
