Yes, I think Disney should just move those darn Zoogs to another channel.

Move the Zoog stuff to a separate channel, AND replace them with more classic D*sn*y stuff.
Honestly, my MOTHER watches some of this [bleep], even tho it's really aimed at pre-teen kids!
A few years ago it was corporately decided that D*sn*y Channel was to become a 'basic' or 'extended basic' or 'super-basic' channel on a whole mess'a large cable companies, never mind that it's still by most folks' definition a low-priced pay channel with no commercials (unless you count the odd sneaky one for Radio D*sn*y...) I still haven't figured out why...the additional cost savings would just as quickly have been invested in another D*sn*y cable property (the ESPN complex, or how about SoapNet?).
I don't get the whole point of Zoog, but the only show that I watch anymore on Disney--repeats of "Growing Pains"--is part of "Zoog Weekends" (although why it's only shown weekends and "Boy Meets World" gets shown daily is beyone me), so I guess Zoog is good for something.

Zoog? Is that how low the channel has sunken. I haven't watched the Disney Channel ever since they got rid of my favorite cartoons like DuckTales and TaleSpin.
Again I'll ask: Just what exactly is a "Zoog?"

My guess is it's Disney-speak for "crap"
It is basically used to describe various terribly written/acted/directed and vapid programming aimed at the pre-teens. Don't ask me for examples. I've heard the word a lot of times while flipping past Disney, but it always seems to be something that forces me to change the channel instantaneously. As for what the word Zoog means, I don't think that even the folks at Disney know.

"I'd answer dat question, all right...if da Hays Office would only let me. Woo-hoo!"
But seriously, excepting "Zorro," the original "MMC," and the long-awaited return of "The Mouse Factory," just one Disney channel (either one) devoted only to Mickey/Donald/Goofy in every form, all the other classic shorts dating back to the Alice Comedies, and the complete (repeat: complete ) roster of features, would keep me from writing "what if?" posts about Walt's Monster for a good long while.
And what would do it for you? Any additions or subtractions to that above??

Maybe the total absence of anything worthwhile on The Disney Channel is really just a ploy to increase sales of the upcoming "Disney Treasures" DVD series...

I prefer to think that he's frozen beneath Cinderella's castle and will awaken to take revenge on those who've destroyed his name. I'm imagining a very Frankenstein's monster-like Walt terrorizing Main St. , chasing Eisner to a windmill, etc.
I can always dream, can't I?
