Does anyone have any of the Oswald the Rabbit/Disney silent cartoons of the late 1920's and the Oswald/Lantz cartoons of the early 1930's, expect for "The Mechanical Man"?
Please help me! I'm willing to trade.

BTW, Check out my Avatar of Oswald, from a 1930 cartoon movie poster about the cartoon released that year, "Nutty Notes."

You might try the "Whole Toon Catalog" which lists a vhs tape featuring "Beachcombers"(1936) & "Quail Hunt"(1935). Quail Hunt is a rarely seen two-color release, one of only six releases ever made for the "Cartune Classics" series. I've ordered this tape myself only this week, it's titled THIRTIES MAGIC VOL. 1., found on page # 68 of the catalog. Feel free to E-mail me if you need any more info...

Hey!

I have a tape with a lot of early Lantz 1929-1931 Oswalds, including HELL'S HEELS (with some rather obvious Tex Avery influences). Problem is, I live in Europe, and I don't have NTSC copying capabilities -- even though the tape itself is NTSC. I can send it to you and you could copy it, perhaps?
What would you offer in trade? E-mail me privately with your proposals :-)

Best,
David

By the way, Pietro...
Did you ever get my Flip the Frog scan? And did you want more of them? You, er... didn't respond when I e-mailed it to you.

Best again
David

David -

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.
I can't get "pict" files to work on my computer.
And about the Oswald tape - I'll e-mail you about that.
