The latest issue of Screen International has a list of New Line Cinema's upcoming slate over the next two years, and included is a certain vampire hunter. The magazine states that Blade 3 is slated for a 2004 release date.
YES!!!!!!
Another good reason to look forawrd to 2004!!!
I wonder if he'll "get laid" like Snipes wanted. Is Mr Snipes still attchatced to the project?

Oh you know Snipes is gonna come back. He is Blade. That's his baby.
What I'm more curious about is who's directing this?

Snipes is indeed slated to return as the Daywalker for a third, and likely, final round. No director is officially attached, but if Hellboy completes production intime, Del Toro could possibly be helming the movie once more, but it seems unlikely.

I would like someone new to direct...maybe Fincher or Rodrigez (spell check), Demme perhaps.....
Directors with their own distinct style that'd bring us an all-new looking more horror-type Blade film that's unlike what we've seen from the first two.
I wanna be REALLY scared and freaked out this time and the final movie in the trilogy has to push it up a notch. ;)

Goyer himself is said to be interested with GHOSTRIDER in Development Hell.

I hope they can keep up the intensity and originality of the first two movies. I'd hate to see something as awesome as blade ruined, but if this is done the right way it could bring everything together to make the perfect trilogy. if this will be the last movie, I'd have no problem with blade "getting some". he's definitely worked hard enough to deserve it.
