Most of those cartoons have Indian or Mexican stereotypes.

Also, Honeymoon Hotel has nothing bad in it...the Cinecolor makes it look REALLY old and the cartoon would need to be remastered from the negatives (or the original master) to look good.

Remember, most pre-1948's are really old prints that have been used a lot.

Yeah, back in 1946 or 1947 when they switched to Cinecolor for a while, those prints look really horrible. Even the dubbed versions!
I was glad that they switched back to Technicolor fairly quickly.

Yeah, it's a good thing the TECHNICOLOR strike ended and we were given glorious red dynamite again. A few of the prints are pretty good, though, like Daffy Dilly, but it was reissued with a Technicolor print, so that could explain why it, and other reissues, don't look as bad as originals.

Davis' cartoon look the most faded, but I think Davis helped because of the color palate he used in various cartoons (more muted, even "The Stupor Salesman" looks faded, but it's Technicolor).
