I came home from work yesterday around 6:45 pm and noticed that someone had driven their vehicle through our gate. After searching the back yard thoroughly, I went inside. I discovered that someone had kicked in the back door and had stolen my cd player. To make matters worse, inside my cd player was my brand new cds, "That's All Folks!" that I had bought on Tuesday. I hadn't had them for 48 hours and now they're gone!!!!

It's a sad world we live in. One you be able to leave their house and not have to worry about some drug addict breaking in and stealing your stuff. This is an outrage!!!

Fortunately, no one was home, and no one was hurt. At least nothing else was taken. It just shakes a person up a bit. We have someone house-sitting around the clock, while on vacation this weekend, because we can't lock the back door. This is not the way I had wanted to spend my 30th birthday.

After all, the sanctity of the American home must be preserved!!!

Oh, man, that SUCKS. I'm sorry! I can't imagine someone doing that, not to mention on a birthday. Sounds like a pretty fearless crook, to:

a. bust down the fence to your yard with a vehicle (this would make noise!)

b. bust through the door in broad daylight.

And they just stole the CD player and CD's, nothing else? Wow, if a thief is going to go to that trouble and commotion just to steal a CD player, he must want it really bad. That's just so thoughtless when people do that. While I've never had my house broken into, the tool shed and garage have been pillaged a time or two, we lost a weed eater once and also a valuable blanket of some sort that belonged to my dad. Usually happens when day-workers come to work on neighbor's roofs after storms, because those guys can watch a house and see the daily routine, and then go for it right before they leave for another site or skip the country, and nobody finds those guys.

Wow. Did anyone see what happened? I wonder if the crooks were some people who knew you weren't at home. Not to pry, but are you in a high-crime area?

Good luck finding the robbers.

Dang that really sucks. You didn't even get the chance to fully and truly enjoy your CD. I hope the police will nail that (Bleeping) Jerk. It's a cruel, sick and twisted world we humans have to live in. And the idiots (robber for example) screw up the dang opportunity for the rest of us to live in peace. Dang fools.

P.S. Same thing happened to my friend a few years back. He got a Playstation for Christmas and a few weeks later, a guy stole all the games and the system. The sick people always spoil some one's day.

Sorry to hear that Mike! I hope they catch that thief and throw him in jail! Or preferably, Woody Woodpecker blowing him up with dynamite in a furnace and putting him on an elevator to hell. Sorry, I just had to say that, I'm really sorry about you losing your CDs.

There IS a 90% chance that person who stole your CDs could be someone you knew. I mean they come in steal ONLY CDs, how do they know you have CDs? I'll bet you It's one of your "friends" or someone who likes to spy on people.
