How come "Blackboard Jumble" is considered a Droopy cartoon? Is it because of all of the bratty puppy students that look like him?

Yes, it's Droopy and his two brothers, Snoopy nad I think Loopy (like in "The Three Little Pups").

That cartoon is terribly bad. The animation is limited, and the whole cartoon just used recycled gags from Avery's THREE LITTLE PUPS.
I dissagree, I very much like "Blackboard Jumble", not the best of the series, but still funny, and the plot is different.

I think the whole H-B Droopy series has that H-B TV show feel. I love them. This one in particular with that teacher with Huckleberry Hound's voice!

Was "Of Fox and Hounds" the new dubbed version or the AAP version?
The dubbed version premired in the Tex Avery marathon.
It was dubbed, if I remember correctly.

Not to mention that "Blackboard Jumble" clearly has a blackface gag in it, but so far it hasn't been edited (which would ruin the end of the picture) and the short hasn't been banned because of it. Plus it shows the Confederate flag, which today has become the biggest symbol of racism since a noose and an oak tree (even though Dem. Senator Ernest "Foghorn Leghorn" Hollings has flown one over the South Carolina Supreme Court building for years).

THE THREE LITTLE PUPS also has an unedited blackface gag in it, and it looks quite similar to the blackface gag in BLACKBOARD JUMBLE . I think maybe they reused some animation from PUPS.
They aren't that bad though, more like greyface, and the character just keeps talking through it like nothing really happened. I don't know if any animation was re-used, but it does re-use many Avery gags found in "Pups", and other Droopy cartoons. "Blackboard Jumble" isn't that much of a re-make plotwise, and it's my favorite of the non-Avery Droopys, that wolf is just toooo funny. The only thing I don't like that much is the pan and scanning, and the backgrounds aren't great (but most of the Cinemascope cartoons have surprisingly oversimplified/ugly backgrounds, it seems only the Tom and Jerry cartoons and a few early efforts took advantage of the extra space).
