Sorry to interrupt the flow, but I was at www.yesterdayland.com, and they had a topic on who would you cast in a movie based on DC's Captain Marvel. I thought it was a great idea to do this, so I would like to have a fantasy casting session based on Captain Marvel: The Power of Shazam!

Billy Batson - Scott Wolf

Mary Batson/Mary Marvel - Jennifer Love Hewitt

Captain Marvel - Patrick Warburton

Black Adam - Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson

Uncle Dudley - John Mahoney

Tawny the Tiger - Brad Garrett (voice-over and possibly body)

Dr. Sivana - Anthony Stewart Head (don't ask!)

Captain Nazi - Dolph Lundgren

Mr. Mind - Frank Welker (voice-over)

Sterling Morris - John Davey, or Michael Gray (either of them has got to be in this movie.)

Shazam, the wizard - Sir Ian McKellen

Those are my choices. So let's have some fun. Who would you cast in a Captain Marvel/Shazam movie?

Johnny Depp

I love SHAZAM/Captain Marvel and I actually wish he was in Justice League animated series instead of Superman who I like but I'm completely burnt out on via overexposure.

No offense but I'm kind of sick of Patrick Warburton's name being cast as every alpha male hero after that abysmal Tick debacle on Fox. He's too middle age paunchy to pull off Captain Marvel and that damn Tick show is still smarting me as well. I see a pumped up Charlie Sheen as Captain Marvel he has that squint and dark features required to pull it off. Scott Wolf as Billy Batson is fine if newspaper boys were usually 50 year olds(JK). Though Scott Wolf is astonishingly youthful for his age(somewhere between 35 to 40) people are aware of that and it should go to someone like Kieran Culkin. As for Dolph Lundgren as Captain Nazi like Warburton, I'm still traumatized by his repugnant Punisher movie that I couldn't bare to see him anything comic-book oriented ever again. He should be banned from the medium. Maybe someone like Val Kilmer instead?

Charlie Sheen would seriously work as Captain Marvel also, Johnny, especially if he could get his new wife, Denise Richards, to play Mary Marvel.

As for Val Kilmer, I think that he could pull off Captain Nazi pretty well. Just look at Batman Forever for details.

And Scott Wolf's in his mid 20's, but Kieran Culkin would be a better shot. At least we don't have to deal with his retard brother Macaulay anymore.

Good Choices, Johnny Depp.

Actually Scott Wolf is in his early to mid 30's.
