I paid $7.00 for a B&W 8mm Castle Films silent print of a Woody Woodpecker cartoon, "The Roaming Romeo", at a flea market in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

WHat the heck is "The Roaming Romeo"? Since it is a Castle Films release, it must be one that was retitled for home movie distribution. What is it about? THen I'll know which one it really is...

I have no projector on which to play it. It has in purple ink on the side of the box "515 THE ROAMING ROMEO".

This may seem like a silly question, but I'll ask it anyway:

Aside from the fact that it might be worth something later on, why would you buy it if you cannot watch it? That's like a blind person buying a newspaper or a person who can't drive buying a car.

Argus is a big collector of cartoon stuff, so whatever he can find he'll get (no offense Argus). However, he could probably rent a projector at his local library (I know mine carries all sorts of projectors). Castle Films was known to retitle shorts for home movie releases. For instance, when they put out a print of "Ski for Two" for sale, it was retitled "Woody Plays Santa Claus", so maybe that's the print that Woody PD video used......
