Alas, they are already planning a Scooby Doo 3 whle SD2 is in the works.

Oh well, I just hope that the Looney Tunes movie does well, is worth watching and deserving of a sequel treatment.

See news report about Scooby Doo 3 (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story2&cid=794&ncid=799&e=5&u=/eo/20021015/en_movies_eo/10680)

I can't figure out why they're planning sequels for sequels that they don't even know will be successful. Seems kind of shady to me.

My theory is that the apocalypse actually occurred back in 2000 and we're unawaredly living through it right now.

You have to admit, 1 Scooby Movie alone is enough to make it sound fairly likely. :p

They assume the second movie will be successful. I hope they are wrong. As long as the cast is not completely assigned, it is not definite that the third movie will exist.

I have mixed feelings about what would happen if the LT movie does well. I do not think the classic characters should be combined with live-action. On the other hand, if the movie does poorly, people at WB might think the classic cartoons are also to be ignored.
