Hi. I thought it would be neat if we did a demographic of the Adult Swim viewers. Are you male or female? I'm just curious to see if there is an equal number of both males and females that watch AS or if it's lopsided. Thanks.

I don't know if the board is an entirely accurate measure of the demographic, seeing as how men are more likely to be in the board. Male, by the way.

The problem with this poll is that we're talking net-savvy people who watch adult swim and subscribe to this message board. About 2/3s of the people I watch ASC with are girls, but only one or two spend enough time on computers to understand message board, plus neither spend their free time here... that I know of.
Of course, going back to computers in general, there are surprisingly few women who are tech savvy due to the stereotypes presented in our society, which is unfortunate.
I say to all the women AS fans, in homage to a great SNL skit recently deceased, "Alright, it's a LADY!"

It's not just they don't understand, because the females that do watch AS, just don't care much about message boards to post and/or read. Just saying that women in general about women not understanding computers or tech savvy is not an accurate statement. A many number of girls I know at least know how to email, type papers, surf the internet, and burn cd's from their computer. That is more than enough knowledge to post on the message board.
Give women at least a bit more credit.

I'm a girl and I watch both AS's obsessively and also spend a lot of time at message boards. By the way demographics are just based on a small number of people who watch something, not the entire fanbase, so I'd say this poll may actually be quite accurate.

My wife and I both watch ASC religously!
it's one of the few things on TV either of us like! (besides maybe The Simpsons, Mr. Show and some BBC comedies...)

Me and my buddies here at school try to watch AS..well the comedy ones...I figured that to ASC on here(my first time posting), but school stuff tends to interfere and also the fact that Crank Yankers...another excellent show is on at 10:30 here. But as far as demographics...most of the girls who have walked in on us either watching a show about a Shake, a Meatwad and a box of Fries or a show about wacked out underwater researchers usually dont show too much interest. And its a damn shame.
