I noticed that in the first cartoon, the mouse was a caricature of W.C. Fields. Had the big red nose and everything.

The "Adolph Zukor Presents" is a redrawn error. The B&W original says "Max Fleischer Presents Popeye the Sailor".

Little Blabbermouse
It's similar to a bookstore short with the catalog of items being interpreted literally (I'd hate to see the diarrhea medicine--:p )...but with a caricature of Mr. Fields. Next to Jimmy Durante, he was probably the most caricatured celebrity of the day in these old Warner shorts.
The Bear and the Bean
One of Barney's funniest...if I didn't know better I'd think Tex Avery had a hand in directing/supervising it. Unless I'm mistaken, Avery never directed a Barney short--a pity, because Barney was usually bland and I've always wondered what direction Tex'd take him in.
Slick Hare
In TTA's "Prom-ise Her Anything", Buster would have done well to steal this Bugs dance--what timing! It's fun to try to figure out who's being caricatured in this one--like the fat man Bugs runs into trying to get away from Elmer. I was thinking it was Orson Welles, but was he that heavy in 1947?
Field and Scream
The best bit was the dumb guy getting shot after making hand-antlers on his head. That and the hunting outfit for the mother-in-law made me howl with laughter. Surprised, really, they got past the censors (they're pixilated on the cutting-rom floor again)....

I believe that the person Bugs bumped into was Sydney Greenstreet (http://uk.imdb.com/Name?Greenstreet,+Sydney) .
