This is a picture I drew based from "The Powerpuff Mom" PPG fanfic series, from my friend David E. Finley...

Ah.
The reason why the kids and their teacher look strange is that they were drawn on my own cartoon style - sorry if kinda disrupts the continuity of style, or somewhat; I just thought on it as them( Miss Keane and the Girls )visiting another school than Pokey Oaks, at another city, or actually, another cartoon "universe", finding that they are loved there as well - hope you like it, anyway...

Thank you for the visit, again^^

Hey Marcos, another winner! So, I have a question...do you colour your pics and then transfer them into black and white, or do you colour them in black and white to begin with?

Anyhoo, another great one! Love it!

Lol!
Many many thanks! I'm so glad you liked it!

Well, Tim,
( thank you too ^^ )

When I did this one, I was having some troble about my old monitor( it was being shown all greenish, and out of the scale... )so, I finished it as I could, and converted it to a grayscale( otherwise, poor Miss Keane would look like she had hepatitis or something, just by instance - so, I wouldn't DARE to post the original color version here, lol )

Yes, that's possible to do it exactly like you said, or, once:

- Scan the outline work at 200/300 dpi( I WANT my scanner back! Waaah! ), as a grayscale;

- Clean the smudges and scratches that could still be in;

- Darken the final sketch, once cleaned enough;

- Convert it to Black and white;

- Clean whatever could be left( there's always something to be cleaned, especially if you scan from a pencil work, not an inked one that, of course is much more sharpen );

- Reconvert it to a color version( RGB );

- Do the "normal" color version, working on the appropriate format, depending of the Program you use;

- Then, convert it to a grayscale, or a 256-color palette; - if the picture went too dark, one always can lighten it thru the Ctrl+M command( at Photoshop ), that opens a little box with a flexible line( up=lighter, and down=darker )or at the similar command at Corel Photopaint, that I use, just by instance;

- Then, saving the result as GiF( that is sharpen than a JPeG )or a PNG( that I don't use much, as the file, always that I tried, went bigger - on KB size, I mean, than the same GiF I tried to ), either for a grayscale or a color version...

However, I always keep a copy on the working format( .CPT )saved on its original, for any case... if I want a color version, like I said, I just convert the original RGB one to a 256-color palette to can be saved as a GiF, instead of a grayscale one...

Hope this helps - thank you for your replies!
