Granted, It's almost written (100 pages), but I'm curious. What would fans want to see in a JUSTICE LEAGUE film (script, in this case). Would you want a larger, action-packed story, or one that delves into the characters? Or both? Homages to the comics? Cameos galore? I know what I'd love to see. What would you all love to see? And would JUSTICE LEAGUE make a good franchise?

(Please no casting choices).

I think everyone knows enough about Batman and Superman, so I would like to see a Justice League movie that explains the rest of the cast. I don't want them to explain how everyone got there because that would be too drawn out. I would like for them to jump right into the action. I know that sounds bad because there are others out there who have never even heard of Justice League...but this is my thought!!! :p

I would like to see villians like the Injustice Gang because one wouldn't be enough. There should definitely be a lex and a batman foe and the rest is in the air. :D

Cameos galore?Because the public at large really know little to nothing about the other leaguers, it should start with a crisis where Luthor and Joker join forces in a crime. When Batman and Superman are, therefore, brought together, they discover it to be a bigger plot involving more arch villains. They put together a roster with reasons why (verbally) and then each go out and recruit the other leaguers (say a ten-minute recruitment of scenes switching from scene to scene as they collect leaguers.) Then the movie goes on. No origins of heroes... just Batman and Superman going to get them.

From there, it's action with good dialog to explain why these villains are doing this, or the leaguers trying to figure it out, and building suspense as they try and stop them, losing some battles at first.

But the reason the villains are plotting has to be good. "Taking over the world" is just plain silly. Make it something good. A really good pay-off, perhaps by Lex who then tries to double-cross them at the end simply because he's greedy.

Preferably Both.

Homages to the comics?

I wouldn't mind any homages to them.

Cameos galore?
Well, at least from some of the supporting cast of each character. (Wouldn't mind seeing Alfred Pennyworth, Lois Lane, or Steven Trevor)

I think it would make an excellent franchise. Though, foucs on the team founding in the first one. Save the Injustice Gang for a Sequel.

In my opinion the film will have to focus in the origins of the other heroes but Batman and Superman. And tie this origins together and with the plot's villains, wich will have to be Darkseid.

I've got an idea a few years ago where there was this plot where Darkseid created all the situations that get to originate the DC heroes, so they could get along, and take over the world indirectly just like it almost happened in Kingdom Come.

Earth would be very interesting for Darkseid because of the Olympus, which was created with the energy from the separation from Apokolips and New Genesis (as told by John Byrne in the Superman comics). That's a tie-in with Wonder Woman.

Just an idea.

So am I. What is "it"? What's almost written?

"it" is my JUSTICE LEAGUE script, being rewritten from the one I posted last year. Spinning out of the events of my WORLD'S FINEST script, JUSTICE LEAGUE is..a bit darker, and much more serious in it's approach to the Justice League itself. There are still villains galore. I'm not wasting time on origin stories, because if it goes over well, I'm going to do SUPERMAN, WONDER WOMAN, GREEN LANTERN, THE FLASH, and AQUAMAN "franchises".

So JUSTICE LEAGUE will jump right into action. I'm looking at it like a trilogy (Or even four scripts, depending on fan reaction to JUSTICE LEAGUE III), and before the three scripts are done, we're going to see what live action versions of most of the DCU are like. There's no Injustice Gang, as I'm trying to avoid the "comic book" feel in places. But there is a "nefarious plot", and JUSTICE LEAGUE sets up a larger story that will continue in the sequels.

Cameowise...I've "cast" over 80 DCU characters in JUSTICE LEAGUE and the sequel so far. And most of them aren't just "Hey, it's So-And-So!" cameos. Most of the characters get developed somewhat, and get speaking parts. It works somehow, don't ask me how. I want it to be a fanboy's wet dream when all is said and done, with numerous references to DCU people, places and events.

The idea behind JUSTICE LEAGUE is that something causes Lex Luthor to round up the most dangerous men and women on the planet. The Justice League eventually figures out what's going on, and more or less has to fight for their lives. The League in this will consist of Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), The Manhunter, The Flash (Barry Allen) and Plastic Man. There are others that serve the League in smaller capactities. But Luthor's people are the ones who are fun to write. When JL opens, the League has been in existence for about three years, and has gone through several incarnations.

I think they should focus on relationships and personality more because we hardly no about hawkgirl ,flash, GL etc. My thought is maybe they should do a episode where hawkgirl recieves a transmisson from home that her planet is in peril or something....or (

note: BIG batman fan) an magical mirror that lets see into your most deepest darkest corners of your past... key people would be Jo'nzz and Batman cuz they have the most horrific pasts (sounds a little corny I know) even tho batman has like 3,4 shows they never talk about his past...and how it affects him...and see the JL react to that ( in think cuz of A Knight In Shadows we better understand Jo'nzz) My thoughts...
